The whole thing bounced hard on the citizens.
The citizens suffered and endured too much for this crazy govt.
* In 2015, boarders were closed to stop importations meanwhile the production ratio for food crop was low. Eventually, it led to rise in dollars. The purpose was defeated.
Now, it's new note. There was no infrastructural development in terms of internet banking to reduce hardship of cashless economy.
It's like Buhari just make decisions without proper thinking.
Iru were wo niyen?

Thank u my brother.
Making new policy is not really bad but the problem is making sure the alternative means are well planned and in place not to hinder the development of the country, in yes of daily need food and shelter 😢

We just have leaders with no or zero vision 😭

Cbn said they burnt it.

Remember El rufai said they were lying they burnt them.

So what if cbn uses that as excuse?

Smh. Emefiewele just wanted to punish Nigerians for reasons best known to him. Las las, what was the point of the policy, if we're now back to square 1? After all the suffering he and Buhari put Nigerians through. Emefiewele, ONKR o.

Emiefile only destroyed evidence of over printing money for Buhari's administration as exposed by Goodwin Obaseki of Edo state, he only used Buhari's brain to achieve his mission.

Over printing of currency encourages inflation.

One step at time.

The new policy limiting over-the-counter cash withdrawals by individuals and corporate entities to N100, 000 and N500, 000, respectively, per week will still be reviewed.

The most important thing now, is for SMEs to revive their dying/dead businesses, with the old notes back in circulation.

Ur saying will still be reviewed. Supreme court said it's illegal.

When will it be reviewed?

This limit is one of the reasons banks can decide to pay people 2k, 5k, or 10k max.

CBN can't use that as an excuse because more than 2 trillion naira can't be destroyed in 3 month.

All the commercial Banks still have the old notes that was why some of the bank branches were able to give out the old notes last week.

Or where do you think the banks got the old notes dey give out last week before they stop?

Watch as people come to blame Obi and Atiku that are in no way afilliated with this government.

Yet they exalt Bulaba, that brought mad hardship to Nigerians in the form of BuBU, all because of EMI LO KAN.

Bulaba brought NEPA bill herdsman ex coup plotter and the people rejoiced, singing, praise you Bulaba, for you have brought us BUBU.

Sane minds were and still are befuddled, perplexed, disoriented, bemused, but most importantly, they were/are CORNfused at how Nigerians will chose characters like BuBU and BuLaBa.

Nigeria is a Comedy and the joke is on us.

Same Atiku and Obi that fully endorsed the tyranny?

Are you drunk or what?

Good. Even with this, the CBN will still effect Naira scarcity. They will make sure both the old and new notes remain scarce until Emefiele leaves office.

A wounded dog can still bite and it's still dangerous.

I don't think Buhari can go scot-free. His remaining days on Earth will be terrible. If human beings can not catch you, what about God?
People should blame Buhari along with Emefiele. They're both guilty not only the daft cbn governor but also the Oloriburuku illiterate president.

I swear..life has been miserable for common man in this country since the naira scarcity..

for a common man to eat is something else.. how will such person get the new cash to buy things for him and his family...

Those at the top, has enough new notes to spend during this period. and we the commoners are voting them..

those prominent men in Nigeria can anyone quote me that they don't have millions of new notes at home.

I wish the cbn governor can just be in the shoe of poor masses for just a day... he would know what life is all about.

if any natural disaster occurs in this country, the big men will definitely fly their families out, the commoners will be the one to suffer.. during the time of flooding, some traveled out of the country.

it's time for all commoners to unite and fight for a better Nigeria,
the only president that care for Nigerians was late yaraudua

the others are just there for selfish interest

Note: if you're in any position today, please try and put yourself in those that doesn't have. always think on how they survive.
you are right but you need to know that the commoners are commoners because they refuse to use thier brain to think rather they fail to realize it's all a game fueled by the ignorance of the masses ... If we all decide to change it today!!!! It will change ... But unfortunately we have the field niggers and the house niggers and they don't get along

Thanks to the 16 states that brought the matter to the Supreme court. The judiciary has done a perfect job. They compelled the Executive to do the right thing. I predicted that it would play out this way.

When I read through the report on the Supreme court ruling, I saw that the president violated several sections of the constitution and didn't consult with several key stakeholders like the FEC, NSC, NEC, etc. Buhari even made the CBN governor to set aside the CBN's own guidelines regarding things like this.

It's a total shame on Nigeria. At this point I'm not even proud to say I'm a Nigerian. How can a country be governed by cow-headed folks like this? No respect for the rule of law. No regard for proper guidelines. Even the elections was a total shame. If I ever vote again, make I know why.

Useless government.
