Baba I know so much about Nairaland I can write an article about behind the scenes happenings here. I know how to differentiate a male and a female just by having a single Convo with them, along with a lot. For example that Monika that's highly obsessed with Peter Obi, Ihordsp', is a female.

For years Igbos have been using words in a derogatory manner like AFONJA, Amala, Dirty, Lazy, poor, Ugly, Agbero, Agbado, and many more to abuse Yoruba people.

Igbos investments in Lagos is about $7 billion..

You can't compare igbo shops and fancy houses with those big industries.

Now to the issue being debated...You just listed the GENERIC investments and assumed the other ones that are less than $1bn don't matter. If you have say 48 igbos controlling $1bn investments in Lagos each what does that tell you? How much does Cubana alone control?

Another assumption. How much does an oil well owner have? You sit in your parlour and assume that because someone has an oil block the person is stupendous wealthier than everyone in a state.

As at 2013, over 90% of Nigerias total oil production were controlled by multinationals. A lot of the investment on those oil blocks are "co-owned" by NNPC at different ratios sometimes as high as 70-30.

It is foolishness to assume that the government just dashes you oil blocks and you go just dey pluck the oil commot for ground dey sell as you like.
