They are partially responsible. After SAF they neglected the academy for a number of years and it go to a point that the sons of United legends were playing for City's academy. We fell behind in terms of facilities and quality of coaching and this led to us falling behind in terms of recruitment. Nicky Butt tried to improve things towards the end of his tenure as head of the academy, in particular the recruitment of top tier talent. The coaching recruitment though has been a bit hit and miss.
