I assumed you would all think it was a joke when I first wrote about these earlier. “Only Yorubas would be employed in important parastatals in Lagos State”, according to a snapshot. I screenshoted a small number of them. The same Lagos that oil from the Niger Delta helped to build. Someone else claimed that because "The Yorubas are superior," they shouldn't act in that way. Hmmmmmm. Think, 💭 💭

If u accommodating and cultured enough, oil companies won't leave ur land head to Lagos to develop their land.

Nigerian immigrants who live abroad achieve the highest levels of success politically or economically. You don't fucking have any of their bloodline, but as a citizen, you still get to enjoy sane priorities. However, in Nigeria, the political elites have stoked the fires of ethno-religious bigotry for their own self-serving interests. And some credulous individuals have engaged in ethnic profiling. Today it is the Igbos; tomorrow it can be Edo or the Itsekiris The Yorubas intend to enslave other southern clans that are minorities, just like what the Fulanis are doing to the Hausas. And to know that they did the same thing to Goodluck Jonathan. NOW THE BIG QUESTION IS WHO’S NEXT
So deep, a time is coming when if it will not favour some people/tribe. One Nigeria is a scam, we are the major causes of our problems. May God save us.

I have absolutely no interest in it; I'm just being honest about the facts. How much worse has it gotten since tribal profiling entered our political system. I'm not even Ibo, but this is just a warning to other southern tribes that the Yorubas are up to something. It would be exposed to everyone in the upcoming months.

The Yorubas are up to nothing. If you have issues with paranoid delusions and neurosis then seek psychiatric help.

Don't come to Nairaland , with your issues, where many others like you will only worsen your malady.

Some of you are just too dumb and base everything on emotion. What state are you from and how many Yoruba works in your state government?

This is what is paining you…power is not giving to anyone out of pity you have to fight for it. Fine it could have been Igbo turn but they had a useless tribal bigot as a candidate and played politics of hatred in the past. Or do you APC to give ticket to who contributed the very least to the success of the party No one gives power on a platter of gold you have to fight for it.

What role did the Yoruba play when they were granted power in 1999, then? The Yoruba candidate was widely accepted and supported by Ibo politicians as well. By pretending that authority is not given, but taken, you guys will be vying for control amongst yourselves and the north. hence tyranny over other southern clans. Not to discuss how you guys, motivated by your own self-interest, conspired against a Southerner from the oil-rich region. Southern clans are completely irrelevant to you. My fellow Southerners should pay attention and be wary of this dreadful serpent because, as I indicated, the larger scheme is to dominate other southern clans!

Projecting hatred upon southern clans, as you did to Goodluck Jonathan, and, come to think of it, no southerner ever battled the Yorubas for voting their conscience, but here you all do it every election cycle with the Ibos. They will start yelling "Yoruba nation," "Oduduwa this," and "Oduduwa that" if it doesn't go their way. Imagine that Yorubas are not permitted to vote in the upcoming Gubernatorial elections in Edo state and they have a very large Yoruba population in Edo State. How will these abhorrent people feel?

Because of their own self-interest, black immigrants vote even in the US. I am not aware of any instances in which they have been forcibly disenfranchised or prevented from voting due to their political preferences. They spend their entire time fighting the Ibos, never attempting to win their support. Query them: Was Jimi-Agbaje not enough Yoruba? Abi is he still Chinedu, hahahahaha

When day did the Yorubas acquire ownership of Lagos? It is a Nigerian state, and according to the constitution, all Nigerians enjoy the same rights.

You're threatening the Yorubas? See you are a backward clown? You are talking of change you assume will harm a people who are already formally at the forefront of the fight for you to control your resources?

What is shown below, only powerfully backed by the Yorubas, seems the action of those who control SS oil wealth and don't wish to relinquish that power?

Yorubas are now determined to evolve like the UK and other nations that are fantastic and developed yet do not have oil or much mineral resources.

This is why we want regional governance. We want to be free of retrogressive elements like you, and your backwards thinking, even if that means we make big concessions and sacrifices to gain that freedom.

Tribalism is your problem. If not you will have stayed out of this fracas between Yorubas and Igbos, caused 100% by Igbos, if you are not a Yoruba hater.

I don't know how anyone from the SS can hate the Yorubas who are using their most powerful leaders to advocate for what benefits you SS folks the most while your leaders and those of the SE remain irresponsibly silent.

Yorubas are not called progressives for nothing. Keep hating them and continue frustrating and depressing yourself when you realize they will always be a step ahead.

By the way, your leaders are your worst enemies. Incompetent and simple minded. Focus on tackling them rather than myopically hating the Yorubas.

Even with full resource control I still would not trust them not to let you lot down horribly. NDDC is a pertinent example.

If you're rational, you'll realize that the statement "Igbo should not vote" served as a dagger to stab all non-Yorubas, who were harassed and abused; one of my closest friends, Itsekiri, suffered serious injuries during this election. Is he an Ibo? You disgusting lots referred to every non-Yoruba as Ibo. Just so Injustice to one , is Injustice to all.

Are you mentioning threats? At the election on Saturday, the Yorubas crudely threatened the existence of the non-Yorubas. You’re discussing resource control ? These men are acting solely in their own self-interest and do not represent the interests of the South South. Our southern leaders, Ibori, Odili, and Alamiesiagha, have been fighting for it.

Okowa and other south south leaders pushed the topic well into 2020, and even Wike had mentioned it.

A Yoruba man, I emphasize, cannot accomplish anything for anyone else but himself. You all are doing it because you arrogant lot now believe that everyone should not benefit from the Lagos IGR, same Lagos that was built with money from the Niger Delta. That's the plan, not because you care for your Southern brethren, which is obviously not the case.

Although these tweets are extremely controversial, they weren't specifically intended at any one tribe. Where were they? Just let's be frank about this. I'm aware of how loud the Ibos can be. But, ethnic profiling is a new low.

What are your thoughts on Brymo and Bayo's tweets about the Ibos? You'd be surprised to learn that the Yoruba community overwhelmingly supported both of them.

Why do you guys always manage to turn a rival candidate into an Ibo candidate during election seasons? These are legitimate questions.

P.S. And you all are trying to make the Obidient movement a tribal movement, the obidient movement cut across every tribe. He’s speaking as an obidient, and not as an Ibo man.

They claim to be educated but most of them are still behaving like the early men. If America, UK and other countries were Yoruba, no Black man would ever hold a position in those countries.
The Yorubas just proved that they are the most tribalistic people in Nigeria. The South South should send these tribalistic things away from our oil region and stop the flowing of and movement of our oil to their region.
Everybody should depend on their resources let's see if hunger will not kill those loud mouthed primitive Yorubas.
