Hi guys, please i would like to know from experience has anyone applied for the post graduate visa on different dates as their dependents and was given? some one told me that if you apply at different times it would be refused, but there is no such thing on the gov.uk website. I mean a family of 4 for example, main applicant and spouse appplies in march and children apply in april all their visas are expiring in may, does it mean they would be refused? It dosent make any sense to me since the applications are done seperately. i just need to confirm from someone who has done it before.

Did you inform the bank before you traveled they may have blocked it from foreign ATM transactions for your account safety. Contact your account officer

Check that you have transferred the funds from your Dom account into your Debit/ Credit card account. If you have not, you have to do that in order to gain access your funds. Also make sure you effect the transfer before 12noon I think so that it can reflect same day.

Thanks Bro. I called the embassy this morning and was told it is tailored to specifically meet applicant's travel itineraries, meaning it would cover both journeys. But I was advised against applying for it as there are no available appointment dates in the next 2 months. So, I'd rather choose other options. Many thanks

I am not able to talk about England or Wale cos Ilive in Scotland.

For Scotland, councils like Highlands, Western Isles, Argyll and Bute. If you wanna go further try Shetland or Orkney council.

Please folks in the Uk that are into IT.

How do you see the prospect of learning cybersecurity with Itcareer switch?

Seriously on the lookout for a UK experience /internship in an IT course.

I am an entry level data analyst without any UK real project yet and no jobs being offered except data entry roles with very low pay.

Data analysis trainings are quite expensive and i do not consider High Impact career trainings ideal for a UK experience.

Dependants are not required to apply at the same time as the main applicant abeg. Apply same time as per say na free abi. Something that cost about 2,000£ per applicant. My husband was the student and he applied first, although they sent him a mail asking for the whereabouts of his dependants and if we still live with him. He replied yes and that we would be applying later and that was it.

It would be end of 2025. Issuance of BRPs end December 2024 which is why it is showing as the expiry.

Good Day All,

I need help regarding my tenancy.

I moved into the apartment on 4th March 2022 on a 6 month tenancy till 3rd September 2022. In July 2022, the letting agent sent me an email reminding me that my tenancy expires soon and gave 3 options to either opt for another 6 month tenancy renewal, 12 month tenancy renewal or statutory periodic tenancy. We opted for the statutory periodic tenancy and this was updated on the tenancy portal effective 4th September 2022. We did not sign a new agreement.

Yesterday, the letting agent sent me an email that my tenancy expires on 4th May 2023 and the landlord wants to increase the rent by £50pcm. I replied him that we had switched to a statutory periodic tenancy since September 2022 and I am not aware of the 4th May 2023 expiry date. I also emphasised how we have been prompt with our rent payment at least 3 days to the date, and I negotiated a downward review of the proposed increment to £25pcm instead of £50pcm.

In his response, He thanked me for all the points raised, conveyed the landlords' acceptance of my £25 offer, and promised to send a new contract shortly.

He sent a new contract with a 12 month tenancy starting from 4th May 2023 at the newly agreed price.

While I do not have issues with the new price, I am not keen on signing a 12 month agreement because of my current circumstance. I just finished studies last month and I am open to taking an employment in any part of England. I do not want to be tied down in one location because of rental agreement.

I just read the initial agreement again and the term states ''The tenancy shall be for a of 6 months to start on and include 4th March 2022 and to end on and include 3rd September 2022, and thereafter from rental period to rental period''. The rental period as defined in the agreement is ''every month commencing on the first day of the term stated above''.

Please advise on how to address this.

For your credit score to grow, you must have access to credit facilities either in form of utility bills paid or credits from credit card companies or credit score boosting apps.

You can opt for the basic plan with Loqbox and it is free.
If you joined Loqbox recently and have been charged £2.50 you can downgrade to the free service and your £2.50 will be refunded

Have you accepted and signed, this new tenancy agreement....

Have you raised this inconsistency with your LL/EA ........
