The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party has been returned the winner of the 2023 governorship election in Rivers State.

Sim Fubara scored 302,614 votes to win the election in the Niger Delta state, INEC officially declared on Monday after collating results from all the local government areas at its state headquarters in Port Harcourt.

Coming behind Mr Fubara, Tonye Cole of the All Progressives Congress had 95,274 votes while the SDP governorship candidate, Senator Magnus Abe came third with a total number of 46,981 votes. Beatrice Itubo of the Labour Party scored 22,224 votes to come fourth.

""Came 4th" is different from saying "Allocated 4th"

LP were allocated 4th because 90 percent of those results called by the collation people were written in people's parlours.

You can only say "came 4th" if there was actually an election.

I don't care who comes first or not,

Let there be elections devoid of;

*Ballot box snatching,
*Snatching of BVAS machines,
*Use of army to arrest political opponents before election day
* Use of thugs and cultists to beat and maim voters.
*Warning those that will not vote for PDP not to come out on election day.
* Army and Police escorting government officials to move around the City to beat and hijack materials.
*Writing results inside people's parlours.
*Refusing party agents from entering collation centers.
*Uploading polling unit results in real time as soon as elections are concluded not the next day.

I do not care who wins,
But when all these happen, then I will know that election took place.

No it's never a crime.

The reason why it is generally accepted that Obi affected Atiku is because they ran together in 2019 and Obi broke out of PDP in the dying period just before the Primaries.

Of course Kwonkwoso is to be seen to have affected Atiku too because he broke off from PDP.

What you see happening to PDP is law of 'retribution'... You take a whole tribe for a ride because they are more patriotic, and still believe you are the only ladder to Igbo presidency since 1999.
I have said it, and will keep saying it... No Igbo man will be allowed to rule nija after the 1967 experience. It is a vow that must be kept by the sect and unexpectedly, an express way to a new nation.

Why is Labour so disappointing?

From top to actual bottom in Rivers State. This fall is hard.

But I remember this genuine Labour Party candidate was already put under the bus by the desperate Peter Obi who only came into Labour to hunt for easy ticket.

Like Chimaroke Said, Obi dumb attempt to win presidency from a very disadvantaged vintage set Igbos at least 30 years back from clinching the presidency.
Tinubu God willing will have 8 years. The presidency goes back to North for another 8 years. After north it comes back to south and the BRACED States will ask for it to complete their term. This is another 8 or 4 years depending on negotiation. After this it goes back to North for another 8 years. This is a total of 32 years and still counting.
Like I said here and Obidients came after me with acerbic words Obi was sponsored by Tinubu.

The election was outrightly rigged. Obi won it in just first attempt because many Nigerians were already tired of the situation of the Country. Let's wait till the outcome of the Tribunal and other preceding judgements. A court of Law cannot be tribunal that can be easily influenced. If you are a lawyer you will understand. More reason why over 60 SANs are interested in the case. It get case wey you go see as a lawyer belle go sweet You.
