Even if G5 had supported Atiku, he would still have lost SE, SS and NC.

If Obi had not contested Atiku would have won with a landslide, G5 or no G5.

That's the truth Oga.

Note that no one is saying that Obi didn't have a right to contest.

But why I am saying that Obi affected Atiku is because Obi came out of the same PDP to contest.

You guys always want the Igbos to play second fiddle...why didn't Atiku allow Obi to run on the PDP platform if he loves the Igbos so much? I am glad for what Obi did, at least PDP as it were has lost momentum in Nigeria.

The disagreement between them pave way for tinubu friendship with wike

You forget Wike wanted the presidency as well
Let me ask. Was he planning for Tinubu to win when he ran for primaries and lost

What he simply did is that he wanted the southern presidency and he want it as well, but when he sense injustice in his party he den used plan B which is..."instead make I canvass for u atiku, a go kuku canvass for my fellow southern candidate who has more prospect to win"

Na Obi come pour sand for my PDP's gaari. We would have won the presidential election by close to 5milion votes gap

Atiku was right when he said he's d ladder to igbo presidency, but the nzogbu nzogbu politics, impatience and Lack of vision blocked ibos from seeing d drift. Now they re back to square one.

Wat da hell is obi smoking to have tought he'd gonna defeat APC in one attempt. He forgot the number of coalitions that sent PDP packing in 2015. undecided undecided

Atiku allowed his greed to destroy PDP

What happened to allowing a Southerner run for the Presidency.

I agree APC rigged but Southern Presendency was what APC sold to Nigerians that's why they got 25% in places they don't have strong hold.

Atiku's greed also led to G5 break up from PDP
South have the highest number of serving PDP governors which the party would have leveraged on.

Absolutely because they don't have government machineries in their pocket unlike APC and PDP.

Obi clearly won the simple majority in the presidential election and you know it deep down.

So why didnt APC come 1st since majority of the electorate voted for them during the presidency in river state. Its a shame that the peoples vote no longer count . The Nigerian youth and pollution have really tried but it seems the politicians don't want to let go of this nation. But all hope is not long we will keep trying till we get it right God bless NIGERiA.

Like Chimaroke Said, Obi dumb attempt to win presidency from a very disadvantaged vintage set Igbos at least 30 years back from clinching the presidency.
Tinubu God willing will have 8 years. The presidency goes back to North for another 8 years. After north it comes back to south and the BRACED States will ask for it to complete their term. This is another 8 or 4 years depending on negotiation. After this it goes back to North for another 8 years. This is a total of 32 years and still counting.
Like I said here and Obidients came after me with acerbic words Obi was sponsored by Tinubu.

and whats the benefit of having an Igbo Presidency?
what have those who got president done with the power?
is katsina heaven today?
what of Ogun or Poverty wrecked bayelsa?

Lol. Wike and this southern presidency crap.
What exactly do we mean by southern presidency self?
If all Wike wanted was southern presidency, why was he going about instigating crisis in states that he felt were not loyal to him in the south?
Wike ran with three other govs from the south. When Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku, why didn't he step down for Udom Emmanuel for example so that a southern candidate can emerge

Why will I insult you because of your political views? That's for ignorant souls.

All this talk of Igbo not forming alliance is just excuses. What alliance did Jonathan or OBJ or Yaradua form to win presidency yet Igbo voted for them all. Alliance as you use it is simply an euphemism for divisive politics.

Nigeria is the better for it because Obi contested under the Labor party. Labor party's emergence has opened up the Nigerian political landscape...it has shown the average Nigerian that change is possible if the masses rise up. It has shown some of those old politicians that power lies with the people and the people are not to be toyed with perpetually. Also, it has shown us how far the politicians will go to remain in power. Even if Peter Obi decided to retire politically, some other person will rise up to take his place. And this time around it may be from some other part of Nigeria. What we want is positive change in Nigeria irrespective of where it came from. If Obi had stepped down for Atiku it would have been business as usual for all.

Rubbish!

Utter nonsense!

You sound like a dubious and mischievous character.

I don't care who comes first or not,

Let there be elections devoid of;

*Ballot box snatching,
*Snatching of BVAS machines,
*Use of army to arrest political opponents before election day
* Use of thugs and cultists to beat and maim voters.
*Warning those that will not vote for PDP not to come out on election day.
* Army and Police escorting government officials to move around the City to beat and hijack materials.
*Writing results inside people's parlours.
*Refusing party agents from entering collation centers.
*Uploading polling unit results in real time as soon as elections are concluded not the next day.

I do not care who wins,
But when all these happen, then I will know that election took place.

The Igbos need this information than any other tribes.

The Yorubas saw what Igbos did in presidential election beating innocent people who voted for APC. The Yorubas saw these videos and learnt from it.They did exactly what Igbos did but as usual, the crying crying baby called Igbos with their victim mentality started wailing…
