Broveens42: Nothing of any such. Play your politics and you'll get there. Only Goodluck Jonathan and to some extent Obasanjo have had an easy ride to the presidency. Buhari fought for it for decades, while Tinubu has been planning his own for decades, including sacrificing his VP slot for a good 8 years despite being at an advanced age. Atiku has been running from a quarter of a century without success. Even Jonathan couldn't retain his seat. Obi wants to get up and walk into the seat at his first attempt and tried to do so by being the candidate of southern and middle-belt Christians who dominate social media. The only other Igbo man who has run on a popular ticket is Ojukwu, who Igbos themselves did not vote for. So who is stopping you from producing a president? Had Obi stayed with Atiku, won with him, and served loyally as Osibanjo did to Buhari, he would have had a very strong chance. Stop this victim mentality thing. By the way are Igbos the only tribe who have not produced a president? What will you say of the Hausa then? Do you know that despite northern dominace of politics there has not been a single hausa president in the history of this country? 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Wike the despot brazenly rigged himself into power and realized that 8 years wasn't enough of his tyranny, then rigged his lapdog, the least qualified, into power. Sim without a network, a political nobody, has never contested for any political position before, but ran for governorship and won on first attempt. I'm sure on Sunday his testimony will be "God did" on my first attempt. Miracle no de tire Jesus. Sim with no tangible manifesto, no political charisma, just dumb as he looks, no aura of royalty, now wants to lead the most powerful state in the Niger Delta. Politics and democracy in Nigeria is a sham. 3 Likes |

demoBaba:You guys are dumb. Labour party doesn't have to win, we all know how Rivers State elections are being run. Rigging of the highest order. Rivers even rigged for Tinubu when Lagos couldn't. What won't they do for their own? Does it it have to be labor? 1 Like |

crowther15:Learn to read and write properly... And learn to use your sense. Obi defected from PDP very close to the primaries. In this political analysis there is no way anyone can deny the fact that Obi's defection affected PDP. Who says he doesn't have the right to contest? Did I say that? 9 Likes 2 Shares |

foleskay: Even if Tinubu fumbles, and coalitions are formed, i doubt he would lead it. Obi has done a lot of damage in places like the SW where he will not see meaningful votes. I think the political sphere will pick someone else. 6 Likes 1 Share |

But it's just common sense to see that Obi's defection few days to the primaries affected PDP's chances. Abi you nor get common sense? 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Obi's motivation was the new electoral law and inec's guild line of uploading results from the polling units. Alas, inec made a last minute u-turn abandoning their guild line which gave way to doctoring of results. If Obi could garner over 6 million votes amidst the ruling party's rigging, it's safe to say he scored the highest number of real vote counts. |

foleskay: I am glad that light is dawning. Obi was not a messiah rather he was the villain that divided the opposition because of pride and impatience. That character is what has led to what the Greeks call "Harmatia" or the tragic flaw. That personal flaw that carries consequence for people's and nations. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Unfortunately they are still deceiving him dat his mandate was stolen. Atiku is power greedy it serves him right let him go to Dubai and lick his wounds.[quote author=foleskay post=121931050 Na Obi come pour sand for my PDP's gaari. We would have won the presidential election by close to 5milion votes gap Atiku was right when he said he's d ladder to igbo presidency, but the nzogbu nzogbu politics, impatience and Lack of vision blocked ibos from seeing d drift. Now they re back to square one. Wat da hell is obi smoking to have tought he'd gonna defeat APC in one attempt. He forgot the number of coalitions that sent PDP packing in 2015.
