Sam Amadi could not resist the poisoned chalice of the politics of tribal hatred and bigotry against Asiwaju Tinubu despite being a beneficiary of APC govt that appointed him to mind electricity problems as Chairman of NERC.

Sam is not busy enough and that is why he is busy giving wings to fake news and hate baits so he should be fired. I do not even support the idea of having a non Engineer heading NERC.

Deleting the tweet was clearly an afterthought. He must have been used to sharing it on whatsapp and their groups where they mock Asiwaju and dig in the hate narratives against others. He just got caught red handed what he has been doing in private.

Though Mr Amadi did not use the exact words Mr Fanikayode claimed, an inference can be drawn from Mr Amadi's tweet '... who is this. So it is true?'.

Ofcourse anybody reading his tweet wiould understand that Mr Amadi was propagating the false rumour. It is no surprise that he subsequently deleted the tweet and apologised.

If this goes to court, it may not be a slam dunk for Mr Amadi.

FfK should delete the tweet but not apologise.

Until this election, I was not convinced that I share nationality with a very primitive, backward people. This is the 21st century and we are still here throwing ethnic slurs at one another while the rest of the world laughs at us.
