Atiku is indeed not a good strategist like JAGABAN. what would it have taken him to have sacrificed Ayu and retain the G5? Well I loved how BAT decimated them.

Chai, so Ayu himself is even a mole in PDP and he's been busy suspending others!!!

Why is there so much betrayal in Nigerian politics? Nawaoo
There is nothing Tinubu cannot do. Tinubu may have bought Ayu to disorganize PDP, same way Tinubu sponsored people to trick Peter Obituary out of PDP.

It is as if Tinubu jazzed all these people self.

Wahala. They are using "the Oshiomole tactics". Of what use again? PDP has already been decimated internally and externally. PDP a clear case of "a house divided ➗ against itself cannot stand".

. Abi. They should had suspend him since and replace him with a southerner so as to pacify the G5 which would had made the G5 to support Atiku and made Atiku to win the presidential election.. Atiku was also selfish and spoiled his chances of winning the presidential election
Re: PDP Suspends National Chairman, Ayu, With Immediate Effect by ufotunang: 10:20am On Mar 27, 2023
Atiku and Ayu destroyed PDP...they were selfish... because of the problems they had with G5 that is why PDP could not win the presidential election

You think after Buhari's regime a northerner will still occupy that seat? In 2019 it was zoned to North because it was their turn. 2023 is the turn of the south. They could have zone it to the south, let the south settle among themselves
if Atiku won u would have stopped him??

Deadlytruth:
Don't mind those who keep arguing it was the turn of the South in PDP. Very irrational thinking folks. Turn of the South which had already spent 13½ years while the North was still lagging far behind at
2½ years.
The North has ruled Nigeria for 46 out of 62_years

Civilian rule the Nort has ruled for 19 years since independence while a person from the South has ruled for 13 since independence

Lol

See this one consoling himself.

1. Wike lost when he lost at the Presidential convention.
2. Wike lost when Atiku snobbed his as running mate, a position he wanted so badly.
3. Wike lost when his asoebi wearing governors whom he misled, Uguanyi, Ikpeazu and Ortom all lost their senatorial bids.
Well, fair enough!
But there’s a popular saying that he who laughs last laughs best.

Wike lost at the convention agreed.
Atiku that won at the convention is now our President innit?😅
Wike is better off because he still has the state because without the help of Atiku and his camp he won Rivers.
Atiku snubbed Wike, you called that a loss? The real loss is failing woefully in the presidential election, you’d agree with me.
What’s the point of Wike running with Atiku when they don’t make it to Aso-Rock??🤷🏾‍♂️😅

But without Wike and the G5, Atiku is carrying placards with ridiculous aegis around the streets of Abuja grin
Ortom and the rest that lost- good riddance!
Not even the weak Atiku camp would have saved them from the ruling party offensive.

1. With the emergence of Obi, there was nothing that Wike and his G5 could have done to make Atiku win the election if they were with him.
2. Even if Wike had supported Atiku, Obi would still have trounced Atiku in a free and fair election in Rivers State, if votes are counted and allowed to count.
3. In Benue, Enugu and Abia, Obi would still win a landslide in a free and fair contest.

The G5 was just a bunch of 5 governors who overrated themselves.

Without Obi in the race, they would have been a major factor for Atiku's victory or loss, as the case may be.
But with Obi in the picture, they were just as inconsequential as the P in Psychology.

I agree with you though that strictly between Wike and Atiku, the former seems to be having the last laugh.

But who really knows? He just might be putting up a show with a bold face; considering how much money he lost in his failed Presidential and Vice Presidential bids.

But then again speaking about having the last laugh, how about his other crew members?
Could you really say that Wike is having the last laugh while his crew members are sobering and crying and gnashing their teeth?
Are Ikpeazu, Ugwanyi and Ortom really having anything to laugh about at the moment??

Atiku probably realized that the G5 were useless to him as long as Obi was in the race.
That's why he couldn't trade Ayu.

The only thing that could have made Atiku win was if somehow Obi did not contest.

But as long as Obi was contesting, even 1 million G5's on Atiku's side could never have given him victory.

Let’s talk about our reality.
Our reality is that Wike’s candidate won Rivers in the Guber and APC won in the presidential election.
Forget free and fair and the hypothesis about Obi winning.
The reality is that Atiku and Obi are in court.
The way you dismiss the impact the G5 would have had on Atiku chances is not practical.
Imagine Atiku won in the G5 states, even the Obi effect won’t prevent him from coming top in the race.

As for Ortom, Ikpeazu and Ugwayin. Wike didn’t force them to do what they did.
Makinde supported Asiwaju, Wike supported Asiwaju, Ortom supported Labour et al.
You would agree with me that Ortom and the rest are bound to lose. Especially Ortom, who rode on the Obi tsunami and still failed!
His failure would’ve been more pronounced if he associated with Atiku IMO.
Modified: Ikpeazu, Ortom and Ugwuayin are as good as Atiku. Atiku is worse actually. They’re all gnashing their teeth together.
But, somewhere deep down, they made sure he(Atiku) doesn’t become the president.
They made sure power came back to the South which is the reason why they rebelled in the first place.
That’s some closure for them. Something Atiku can’t have.
The resignation of Ayu that partly caused the mess eventually happened in a worse manner-suspension.
So, you’d agree that Atiku is the worst loser of them all.

Suspension is usually done at the ward level, cos every party member including the president got registered as a member of the party at the ward level.

At ward level? I would have believed the story if it came from the PDP national secretariat
