Google the model number on the inverter. If no model number. Use Google lens to scan d inverter and check for d 24v variant of the suggestions e bring come or start putting load on it starting with 1kw to see d percentage of load e go show u. If e show 55-60% on 1kw is most like 2kw inverter.

I will say it's ok....don't have a standalone mppt to compare. The peak harvest I got today is 1.79kw from a 2440w panels, I don't know if it could be better. The panels are 8 270w, I added 280w panel recently to make 9 panels configured at 3s3p

I have installed a 3kva hybrid with max pv input of 500v for someone last month, although the pv installed is not so much (4 pcs of 325w in 4s configuration) but so far it has been ok. at a point, one of the internal cooling fan stopped working and something blew up inside, so I took it to their facility at Okota where it was repaired on warranty.

I've since re-installed it, and the client couldn't be happier.

You could take things a notch higher by integrating an alarm system and also getting a vehicle or vehicles for armed response to attacks or attempts to steal captured on video.

Even here in Abuja nearly all the solar panels and associated systems that were installed to power CCTV installed a while ago have been vandalized

But there is something I noticed about the street light systems installed by China recently.

1. solar powered.
2. properly earthed.
3. Some of them have alarm systems as well as cameras.

Not exactly what you are offering but I am sure that you can copy and transpose the lessons to your own project.

Bros, thanks once again. We're just considering different options in this project as we've already determined to deliver quality job by installing products that will deliver the needed result while also lasting longer.

I'm yet to receive the lifepo4 cells ordered in November last year. They were to be used to test run the contract project.
My mind hasn't been resting since but I'm very happy that VALTO has stepped in to make sure I receive that good as soon as possible.

I use crown Ricco inverter n it handles heavy load 5n. Fan doesn't kick in until u av up to 50% load on it plus d fan is not loud, the transfer inside is toroidal. The 2.5kva variant is around 130/140k 3.5kva is 170k. The surge rating is 3x the actual inverter rating. It has MCB built on the AC input n output. The idle power consumption is less than 30w.. 26-28w thereabout. It has 30a AC charger as well. I don't use the AC charge so I don't no aw good that part of the inverter is. Aside that, every other thing is ok.

You use just solar to charge it or you use external AC charger

Considering the rate of battery counterfeit, i think if anyone is recommending any battery brand here, s/he should follow up the recommendation with a reliable source. Even Simba discontinued the sales of Luminous tubular batteries at some point. If that guy wants to use lead acid, he should just go to Idyllic and buy fullriver battery with peace of mind. I use it and it is serving me. If anyone recommends any, a reliable source wouldn't be out of place.

Specs of your 250w panels....multiply the VOC by 6(number of panels available). If it's within your mppt cc maximum voltage, you are free to connect all in series

Because of your project, I took a second look at those solar-powered traffic lights on my way to work.

The control box for each of them is high up there. You need a ladder or a crane to work on each of them.

Implementing it this way makes life more difficult for criminals.

I use Solar alone. Incase u plan on changing urs with AC. D inverter has 30a AC charger

No idea. That's exactly how my inverter looks like. Most of these companies do rebranding. It might even occur that both of them are not actually the real owners. Just added their own name to d inverter.
