Olawrites:Admissions is different from funding. Or are you assuming everyone here is a prospective PhD student? You can't bomb admissions to give you a decision because indeed, it can go southwards. It does go southwards. |

Olawrites:It's actually very helpful to have a good rapport with your Graduate Coordinator, as it can be very helpful in securing funding. |

Good afternoon house, I want to ask, if I don’t have a deficit’ on my I-20, do I need to go along with my bank statement for my visa interview? I’ve a full tuition scholarship and I used a student loan to cover the cost of attendance. So I’ve no deficits |

BigIyanga:Thank You. I spent several weeks searching for conference in my field that I can use as means to apply for the US B1 visa. I couldn't get what I precisely need from Google. But fortunately someone sent me a link that fit and I used the conference to apply from Norway here. I got the B1/B2 visa of 5years now. There is google and there is networking. |

Bmuhd4smile:This your smart response energy could have been channeled into University of Google. BI/B2 is soo different from f1/F2… the fact that you had no success with google during your B1 does not mean that you would face the same problem with F1/F2. How about you take your time and search on NL about this same topic. You still have to do the work of reseaching and Googling… You have to reach out the universities to determine your eligibility for full funded scholarship… it’s hard for folks to tell without knowing your unique qualifications, skills and circumstances. |

Jahard:Go with your loan and bank docs…Too many docs are good for you before a VO. |

Hello house, please all advice will be welcome thank you in advance. I will be having my court wedding ending of next month. But my wife want to apply for admission now. Please hope this won’t be an issue when applying for F1 and F2 visa as I’m the F2 applicant. And also is it advisable she use the name on her first degree for the application or my own surname she will be using after the court wedding. Thank you In advanced to you all. |
