Don't mind them. They're just doctoring anything to work against Obi since they can't talk about competence and capacity. Even the purported phone call is the work of AI speech synthesis. If Obi had chosen Christian running mate, I wonder the crucifixion

How did he do that?

Tinubu just picked a politician who he felt would give him the needed support from the north
Hahahaha! You see how you put it? Why blame Obi for campaigning where he thinks he needed support?

Where did i blame obi for that?

Politics is not a clean game and Politicians always try to get as many votes as possible.

Obi will be the one to blame himself and be ashamed of himself, after deceiving people and pretending to be different from other politicians to the gen z who don't know his history when he was governor, only to be caught on tape saying please daddy, this is a religion war, yes daddy

If obi wasn’t the best candidate the Igbos won’t vote him

Igbo man no send brother or sister when it comes to work
If you’re good he accepts you
My problem with them is that they never want to look back to their history and maybe learn from it

That's where you are getting it wrong which I know you APC guys are made to be raising this propaganda.

The driving force for the Obi movement is nothing but a hunger for a real change and the end to corruption which APC represents but since APC has nothing to campaign with, they resorted to attacks and propaganda. Get this into your skull.
Its not hunger, if its hunger ther3 are better candidate like dumebi and sowete that fit the bill.

Hunger is just a decoy, coverup and whitewashing tool

We saw those u mentioned before going to ask Obi to contest. By the way, it's not about tribe. It's about the quest for a real change from corrupt governance.

OBI doesn't represent any real change but the same old corrupt system.whoever believe the Atiku and ojukwu mentee represent a real change needs his head examined.what has Anambra changed too?,what differentiate OBI from Atiku in term of principle and loyalty...OBI that has spent his life jumping from one party to the other.
OBI is going back to PDP before 2027.

The way you guys use decamping from party to party to shoot Obi marvles me. Is there no corrupt practice you can use against him?Is remaining in a party helping the cost of items in the market? I wonder how you guys even reason. Tinubu has not changed party, so how has that stopped kidnapping and terrorism in Nigeria? How has that prevented the prices of things going high in Nigeria? How has Tinubu remaining in APC provided jobs for the masses?

I am igbo but i agree with you. When this whole things started building up, i remember how some guys on social media came together to rally Obi to contest as they are willing to support him, which Obi accepted. Then, he was in PDP and many laughed at him, especially the igbos (I cant forget how Ekweremadu mocked him). I was telling some people around me, mainly elders and igbos, and they all said Obi is a small boy. I told them that the youths are galvanizing supports for him underground and they never believed until the Obidient movement started shaking the country. Edo and Delta carry first for the support. Jos sef dey there. In fact, igbos never belived such support and that was when they all started believing that Obi could win.
One thing i know for sure is that Obi is a divine project as he was the surest person to be trusted. APC who went religious are the one accusing Obidient of being religious in his campagins and calling labour party igbo tribe. APC sabi fight shaaa. They are good at challenging anything. Very good at propaganders.

Even though most influential Obi supporters were Yoruba. Peter Obi won Lagos, now it’s Edo and Delta that carry first for Peter Obi support despite those people hating you more than the Yorubas do grin I laugh in Hausa. You people will never learn, your tribal bigotry and hate for anything yoruba will always be the end of you people grin

I would have loved to engage this person honestly however since you tagged his post I would just address all the points he has made.

Yea I respect his views because we are all entitled to our views and we all see things in different opinions but honestly I don’t think we are been fair with one another in this country hence the level of injustice we all support and this last election has definitely shown that majority of us either from the Igbo or Yoruba are hypocritical with our views.

As a Yoruba man who has lived in the North, whose majority of allies and friends are igbos , married to an Igbo and definitely have several personal relationships with my Yoruba people I had always said to people who cared to listen to me that Yorubas are the worst ethnic group among them all while Hausa will forever be the best. Yes my view is based on my personal relationships with this three majority groups and another person own could be otherwise so I respect that. having said this let me address some of the points.

1. On his first point the level of voters education and awareness on the need to vote in this last election is much compared to previous elections where majority of the voters were mostly party men/women and maybe few people who still had believe in the electoral system hence the reason you will see the total number of voters are mere fractions from the registered voters. This is the only time Youths came out en-masse because most are now aware that the only way bad governance can be changed is through there votes. So what changed then and now is the level of voters education put in place by various civil organizations as well as recent happenings prior to the election which triggered the direction we are heading as a country

2. My questions are why blame some for capitalizing on a loophole and praise another person for also doing same ?

Where is the fairness in a political party and candidate that forgot Nigeria as a circular country needs to practice what she preaches. Where is the principle of federal character when a candidate opted for a vice that was from his same religious believes. He aligned with what was best for him that could give him the chance of winning. So where is the fairness in that ? Or how did peter obi capitalize or create whatever the writer termed “hate”.

Apc chose a strategy and LP capitalized on the game plan created by APC so I don’t see why we should be biased with our judgments because in all honesty if ApC had not chosen a Christian vice, we won’t have been discussing all this.

3. This writer first statement in the third paragraph is some of the issues we are having anyway atleast his own abuse is constructive not some supporters who resorts into abuse, attack, insult and curses but I am going to say this first everyone who followed this election very well knows inside him and her that the massive support for peter obi was not about religion or tribe only if we want to keep on deceiving ourselves. Prior to the election people were tired and I can say it out rightly that a lot of people like me didn’t know who to support prior to obi emergence.

The support he receives from someone like me is not because I see him as the messiah, Yes I don’t see him performing extra ordinarily also but just for one reason which is how frugal he his to finance. Thats the kind of president we need at this period because the level of debts and corruption in this country is way too much to allow other candidates emerge. Anyway Someone has been announced and we can only pray for the best.

Now on the issue of Lagos is a No mans Land this is the only place I would agree with the writer because honestly The ApC capitalized on this word and used it against Labour Party and that gave APC a clear victory even before the election.

However my point on this is that we only allowed a political party create enmity among ourselves by using the tactics of divide and rule. My point is that even without the word claimed to have emanated from Igbos sanwoolu would still have won the election even though he and the party were jittery hence the reason for adopting all means in winning the election. So my take on this is that it was Just a propaganda that igbos wants to take over Lagos.

On the issue of sanwoolu victory I disagree with the writer because we only showed how tribalistic we are by intimidating, threatening, disenfranchising or fellow citizen from supporting his or her choice due to some fallacies that was spread by a political party just to make it seems that a tribe wants to take over there land. Where is the justice in disenfranchising your fellow country man ? What is the essence of the voters education, what is the essence of the billion spent? Anyway the enjoyment we all receive most especially in Lagos is that we all continue to have voters apathy because more people will be disinterested in 2027 election

So the writer has admitted in the last paragraph that all the propaganda spread was not initiated by obi nor majority of his teeming supporters but just by a fraction of few he tagged headless mob which we all know who they are just because of politics.

Lastly the notion that majority are supporting obi are mainly Igbo is very wrong because the man is recognized by other ethnic group as well.

Ire ooo

Chief stop claiming Omoluabi, aren't you ashamed?...
Calling Yoruba the worst of ethnic groups in Nigeria because they voted all the three major candidate while Igbo was busy giving their son 80 and 90 percent...

Up till now I have been wondering why this Obidient movement was suddenly made to look like an igbo movement or igbo quest for presidency.

Unfortunately, the igbo then played along and now even after the nonsense called elections, the propaganda by APC keep building momentum and tagging everything igbos.

If I can remember the first time I was made to pioneer the OBIDIENT movement in my area, I booked appointment with the igbo president and his excos. I was shocked to my bones the responses I got. I was so disappointed by them because they didn't believe in the movement and they told me point blank that they were supporting APC.

I didn't waste much of my time with them and I drove off. I never got back to them and decided to work with non Indigenes, which I was part, who shared in the vision and the movement.

It was later I was told that they were ready to meet with us but it was too late a time. So, where did the OBIDIENT movement made igbos movement?

We only needed a shift from this corrupt politicians and to give this nation a hope.

It's called propaganda. It's repeating a lie over and over again until it starts sounding like the truth and people begin to believe and accept the lie as truth. To achieve this evil end, employ the use every available media. Be brutal. Never relent. Don't give breathing space to the opposition
