Applied November 30, 2022
Biometrics: December 2nd
Request for additional documents: 28th February
Medical request: 14th March
Medical done: 22nd March and updated to pass March 25th
Passport Request: 29th March, 2023. One day shy of four months 😩. Such a long wait.

I am currently pregnant and hoped to receive PPR before now so I can travel and give birth in Canada. Right now I’m so close to my due date and do not know how feasible it is to travel. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am already stressed thinking of applying for visitor visa for my soon to arrive baby considering the overly lengthy processing times for visitor visa.

Documents submitted:
All IMM forms
International passport
Spouse Canada school documents
My educational certificates
Employment Letter and ID Card
Salary account of 1.2 million
Spouse CAC registration docs for home ties.
Letter of motivation
Pictures with my spouse, my parents and siblings
CAC document of my mother’s school for home ties

In writing my SOP, do I make a column or heading for my husband to explain himself too
Or will he have a separate SOP.

Please note he is the sponsor so I will be definitely mentioning him in my SOP as I'm the primary applicant.

I took same route.. Please were you able to track your passport via UPS??

Is it the same tracking number they gave you at VFS?
How can I track my package via UPS? I have already paid 18,710 to VFS for my passport return.

Hi,

You don't need a heading for your husband.

He would also write a separate short letter to explain why he is accompanying you. There will be a place for him to upload that.

Hello everyone,

Please is there any other way to follow-up with an application apart from the web form and reaching out to a MP?

I applied for SOWP for my spouse since July 31 2022. Biometrics and medicals passed since September last year. The proof of funds part was quite easy as I have a decent job in Canada and I also schooled there. They asked for proof of relationship and we provided marriage certificates, wedding photos, emails and whataapp communications. We have not heard back since the request for proof of relationship was made in October 2022. No update to the status whatsoever. I was wondering if anyone has a similar experience and if there is something I am missing. Is there a way I can follow-up with the application besides the webform which has not really been useful? Thank you.

Hello everyone
Please I need response from there anyone that has applied for PR through work permit. I have someone that wants to apply for provincial nomination to support his PR application, he has been working in Canada for the past 9 months and he needs to change his present job to another. But he is bothered if change of employment can affect his PR application. Does he have to stay with his present employer till he gets the nomination or can he change employment? He's employment is an open work not closed.

I would say webform is effective. send them tons of emails and web forms on daily basis for at least one week and you will return to thank me for the advise.

When sending webforms, send to all locations, i.e., Nigeria, Nairobi, and all that you know. I don't know their email addresses and locations though.

Since July 2022 and you are this patient. Bro send them webforms 3 times daily. Call them morning and afternoon. Send emails EVERYDAY. Your application is way past the processing time frame and you have all the right to disturb them now. Call Call and Call

Yes, you need to tell you story; meaning, you need to have a solid and sound SOP with evidences.

Little research gave the below; however, I don't believe it's cast in stone - meaning, some of the CBSA are quite understanding people and would let it easy for you, by asking just basis things. But it's wise you have an idea of the below questions and prepare properly.

1. What is the status of your spouse/partner inside Canada?
2. What is the expiry date of your spouse/partner’s permit?
3. Is the principal student/worker inside or outside Canada?
4. Are they a student or worker? Where are they working/studying?
5. Are they full time or part-time?
6. Do you have enough funds to support yourself?
7. What is the name of your spouse/partner?
8. Name and location of the school, if they are studying.
9. What subjects are they studying – which semester are they currently in?
10. When did the program start and when will he/she graduate?
11. Do they also work as a student? (This question applies if they are an international student)
12. What type of relationship do you have with your partner/spouse?
13. Show me photos of your spouse/partner (on your phone or wallet)
14. Show me your travel ticket? Is it 1 way or is there a return part of the ticket included?
15. Where will you go now? Who will pick you up from the airport?
16. What occupation is your partner/spouse working in?

If after tracking your application you can see your visa document number what does it mean? does anyone have an idea...i got my BVL march 23rd 2023...havent gotten any response yet from IRCC

It means your application was approved, they probably forget to upload your visa approval letter or some technical glitch.

Send mail to Abuja and all the offices. Raise webform too, I experience same thing but mine was uploaded within 24 hours

We applied as family of 4. All children request for passport has dropped about an hour ago but spouse's own is yet to drop. Is there any reason why dependents came in first? any need to be worried?

Should i send them webform or wait for a day/two, if nothing then i send webform(s)?

I will be glad to hear from you all shortly.

The tension is high. we need to plan how to send passports and move.

Ircc no get standard way,i got my bvl as well on 24th march i.e a day after urs and on tracker, i could see that i had assigned work permit and visitor visa number though with no expiry date

Today my wife called MP to assit and they sounded non challant however this evening got PPR .my guess is they called ircc and someone completed the process
