Nigerians think they re doing ekweremadu. The country’s name is at ridicule here.

So even if he kills someone, he should go Scot-free because of the country's name?
I wonder how many Nigerians think. Should some people be higher than the law because of their positions?
After all, we are first humans before we are Nigerians.

Try to have human feelings first before having country feelings

Obasanjo just dey write upandan....the first two paragraphs were more about himself than Ekweremadu.

It must always be about him-self serving man.

Meanwhile, Ekweremadu’s act is criminal in the face of the UK law.

Even King Charles will find it hard to intervene

What do you know about Letter Writing for an official purpose?
Dont you have to introduce yourself and provide platform why your request should be honored?
So Obasanjo should have gone straight ahead to request Ekweremadu be released?
Go back to school to learn some more.

people are so filled with frustrations. So sorry bro, hope you have eaten today.
It is well with you. Just calm down and drink water. All is well.

I am at home in VGC, with my house-help making my supper right now.

I eat enough, and high quality, food to feed my brain and ensure I know the kind of people I defend, acknowledge or call my leaders.

You know why I like some of these American thriller movies, they put you into real test. So many things are easy to say but when faced with real life test, would you compromise?
Let’s assume you have an only child, and you are placed in a situation where you save him or save a stranger. You have to kill one otherwise the two will die, would you pull the trigger on the stranger and let your child live or would you refuse to shoot and let them both die. I too like American moves sha grin they keep you thinking of what would you really do when put to test.
Forget all these people making noise and judging ekerwmadu, they have done worse in smaller situations and may do worse in more critical situations.
Don’t pray for life to test you

Well, you don't know me.

I am not like every person you've ever seen or been in contact. I've evolved beyond current thinking of most of us whether you understand or believe it or not.

There's no such thing as death to begin with, in fact, there are billions of same copy of you existing on different planets across the multiverse. You here on this earth is just one copy of you, so you can never die even if you wanted to die.

Death is an illusion. It doesn't exist in reality. What we erroneously call death is like a transition between one scene to another, just like a movie- like the time between when you open one page of a book and the next page.

You'll so called die trillion upon trillions of time but you'll continue to live. The multiverse or so called universe is your home and you're going nowhere outside of it but you may exist as a fish, horse, goat, mosquito, bird, elephant, etc and return to a human at the appropriate time. The ancient Egyptians who did more research about God, life and death than any other civilization, said it takes about 3,000 years to exist as other living beings before returning to the current one. You were alive 3,000 years ago on this earth!!

Death is a very beautiful thing!!

If there are billions of me in the universe, how come I’m not feeling the presence of billions of me. At least I should be aware of my other copies. Lol

There's no way for us/you to know that under the current system of knowledge exploration and acquisition that informs our current thinking. Humanity has been deceived because people ((Europeans) who didn't know anything about spirituality and the history of life, hijacked all the apparatus of learning to keep not just themselves dumb but also those they've conquered across the world. We have to be thinking in a complete different way to know that.

Asiatic spiritual systems like Hinduism, Bhudaism, Shintoism, Confucianism, even our indigenous African spiritual systems have a clue. Here in Africa, our ancestors never said that someone died, instead when the so called death occur, our ancestors used to say that the so called dead person "has gone to be with the ancestors". So, our ancestors had a clue.

Baba should know that this is UK, a civilized country, they wont even read the letter. He should have stayed away from this.
This is to tell you nigeria is far beyond repair. Common, this means if it happens in a country like ours, the boy will likely rot in jail while the ekeremadus will be working freely just like many others. Elites in this country are very selfish, satanic and wicked.

shut it, Ekweremadu's actions are plain evil, more like spiders eating themselves in a jar, but frankly, most humans would react exactly the same he did, ekweremadu is human and to err is human, I plead for a lighter sentence taking into consideration hes a first offender, and may not be fully aware of the laws in the UK, he's sentences should be done with human face, am sure he has learnt his lessons, and wouldn't try such again, 3yrs jail term with possible fines is enough to correct his brain, after all he didn't go through with the act, that's a ground to be compassionate

Nairaland is full of kids.

Letter writing for oneself is different from writing to solicit for another.

Two paragraphs to introduce himself is too much my friend. A simple former two time Nigerian President will suffice.

I will rather he introduced himself in two lines then do more to justify the need for clemency than talking about his own military and presidential affairs

Before you blame this Ekweremadu, I’m not saying he did right but the truth is that many people are worse when faced with pressure.
Before you question people’s moral ground, would you do same when faced with same pressure?
so you believe Uk should be stupid like your Nigeria which justice can be sold for a bigger buyers? Where the law that works for Poor's is different from those that serve Riches ? Oga make that your Nigerians bad mentality remains with you not uk. Bad followers produce bad leaders .

What makes OBJ different from our other rulers is his intelligence and love for formal education.

You can't put him in the same bracket as the likes of Babangida, Gowon, Shonekan, Abdusalami, and Yaradua, Goodluck, Buhari and co.

When you think OJB you think of Azikiwe, Awolowo, Aminu Kano, Enahoroh, and co.

Doesn't still change the fact that if our leaders, Obasanjo and Ekweremadu included, along with the bunch of clueless mofos we have currently past and present, BUILT/BUILD world class facilities and hospitals in a system where every process has a legal backing and accountability for every action.

Unfortunately, UK is not Nigeria where the law is practically abused effortlessly.

....the country nigeria is already ridiculed and put in bad image to foreign countries by our government and politcians.....the high rate of poverty hunger hardship unemployment , insecurity which this foreign countries know about that nigerians are going through. they know that all of this is caused by our politcians and government because of their bad goverance....these foreign countries abroad know that our politcians loot money and deposit those looted money in foreign bank accounts abroad and also use this looted money to build or buy houses abroad....there are times where the USA, UK and other foreign countries warn their own citizens not to travel to nigeria due to the high rate of insecurity, kidnapping, banditry and the insecurity which is caused by the government and our politcians... by putting nigerians in poverty, hunger, hardship, suffering , unemployment...they do.not.provide jobs for the youths but use the youths as political thugs .. INEC did not provide a transperant and credible election in which some foregn countires leaders said the election was not free and fair...so with all of this it's our politcians and government that ridiculed the country and put it in a bad image
