Hello
anyone going to UND here? Instead of sending me the hard copy of my I-20 through DHL or FedEx, The school has decided to sent the soft copy of it through an email stating that now most of the embassies around the world are currently accepting digital I-20s. so my question is does embassies here also accept digital one?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by Sisib15: 11:22am On Apr 06, 2023
Yes, it is acceptable. Just print out your I-20 and take it to the embassy with other documents

With the recent news that dollars is going to be deemphasized and might probably lose values, I'm beginning to think twice about my relocation move. My uncle that recently came back from the US gave me $5000 to do business and I initially thought about using this money to move abroad.

I'm not like an average Nigerian who get carried away with "there are good road and 99hr power supply abroad". When I travel, I'm going there to go and make money not to count ceiling and take hot picture for the Instagram and to pepper people at home.

If dollars get decentralized and $1 = about #250, thouh this development will not go well with people abroad since they'll have fear that the little they send home will no longer be able to surprise anyone, and their usual conversion strategy will no longer work. But on the other hand, this move will help people in Nigeria as there won't be that much of a difference between someone earning #500,000 in Nigeria and the one earning $3000 abroad

Good evening guys!!!
I tried paying for my I-901 fee and a pop up read ‘we only accept western union, check and money order’. Do I continue to make payments with my GT bank card or what do I do?

I’ll appreciate an urgent reply please🙏

You can't pay with your GTBank card. I had to find a friend that is already in the US to do ut for me then I credited her Nigerian account. Nigerians are not allowed to send money out with western union, the out bound interface or whatever it is called, is not working.

If your visa been approved, you can reach out to Nigerian/African Students at UM via student union organization. You can search on Google/FB/IG etc.

They offer MSc Nursing in some schools in there USA.
I found out during my research when I was looking for schools to apply for admission. But one might have to take some additional courses or an exam.

Exactly!

Hmmm....while some of us are wishing that the exchange rate could be like this so that we can pay the tuition and fees.

I don't see why this is making you reconsider relocation since the exchange rate has never been the problem. The problem is the lack of opportunities we have here in Nigeria.

Where are the opportunities to even make a #500,000 salary here in Nigeria?

Very few and far. The vast majority of Nigerians are living far below this amount. Even the few opportunities available tend to be riddled with nepotism.

Bro, the way these folks hoard dates for personal gains irks me. Tons of genuine students looking for dates are likely to defer due to no appointment. More annoying, he used “T&C apply” like he’s offering some professional services.

Na people like this I like to Dey channel my anger towards. Folks like him should be arrested and dealt with.

Bro, I sent you a dm

Have I ever been denied visa to the US: I was denied one in 2016 for my sister's graduation.

Do I have parents in the US: yes I do

Do I have siblings in the US: Yes I do

Who is my sponsor: my uncle in Canada who is a medical doctor.

Good afternoon everyone. Please I'd like to know if I can fill in No to having parents and siblings in the US during my application even when I do have my parents and siblings in the US. I want to know if it won't affect my chances of getting a visa.

No, dear, there is a Bachelor of Science Nursing, Master of Science Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice.

BigIyanga:

Not true. Nursing in the US, is an undergraduate study.
