This is the update on it as of yesterday:"Your item could not be delivered on November 3, 2022 at 3:46 pm in NIGERIA due to the addressee not available at time of delivery. It is being held while the addressee is notified" No one has contacted me and I am confused about which of the NIPOST offices in Lagos I have to visit to get the package.

The PO closest to the address on the package will be a good start.

You can also send a mail to customerservice@nipost.gov.ng

Subject of mail should be the tracking number (very important).

Hello guys, so this is what my orders have been showing for more than one week. When I asked around they said that it’s still at Lagos, probably passing through custom.
My issues are:
1. Does custom clearance take this long?
2. Is there a high chance that the parcel is at the Nipost office in Port Harcourt (which is the final destination) and it wasn’t reflected on the tracking site?
3. What is the possible solution?

Sorry for late reply man I have been offline for a while.
I ended up negotiating with them.
My experience was super hectic, Anybody shipping items from the U.S should use the EXPRESS service and reduce the actual value of the items but also insure it sha

Anyway yes, they reduced the charge for me after almost 2hrs of negotiating and I ended up paying 130k. Could have reduced it much further but I was terribly sick of talking with them

My package was delivered to the Agege post office on 26th January but I am not in Lagos at the moment. How many days will it be there before they send it back to the UK? A friend in UK help me to get a phone from AliExpress (£197). The phone has been delivered to him in UK. Initially I thought he was coming to Nigeria before Easter, but he shifted it to July. Royal Mail International Standard is from £4.64 while International Tracked & signed is from £9.09. My question is, will I still pay custom duty and hope the phone will not get missing when it get to Nigeria ?

Your package is still in Lagos. Give it a few days and check after the holidays.

my order ought to have been delivered on the 24th of march with singapore post from aliexpress but it got to lagos on the 23rd and it left for ilorin few hours later and up till today 7th of april, i have not received a call or a mail from any post office around. i visited the post office 2days ago and i was told it has been 3 weeks since they last received any mail. i called the nipost care line and was told it has left lagos for ilorin.
