ThePresenceWtf:I thought i was the only one that noticed that. Smh. She almost cost a goal trying to muscle with the Haiti player. This babe doesn't know wwc officiating no care for such rubbish. Isokay. Sam Axe is not the game reader kind of coach. Infact, as much as i dislike Olowookere at the u17 world cup, i trust him to shout at Demehin to fix up asap if he was on the touchline. Sam Axe na zombie |

As in eh Basco man. I couldn't help the reference. Everyone who watched Emmanuel Michael at the U17 WafuB will definitely see that Esther FK goal and shout De Ja Vu!!!🤣🤣 BascoVanVeli: |

daveP:At least Ebi has been able to complete her passes to midfield and to Imuran. She's the only defender engaging their attackers and has won a few aerial duels...but she's slow as shit now. Demehin is a non factor... Can't complete a pass to save her life and almost got caught while trying to dribble in her 18, was lucky to be fouled. |

lovewins:Again, Ajibade can be annoying. How did she miss that sitter and then the tap in? |

naptu2:Do we have a setpiece coach/trainer? We're too disorganized in that aspect |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 3:56pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
ThePresenceWtf:One thing Ebi has good is her passing. Not as good as you want but she has that on lock. Blessing needs help. |

lovewins:That's why I said she should talk if she doesn't want to play. Playing not to get injured is -1 for the team. |

Ebi has spent close to 15 years in the national team yet she doesn't know how the defence and Midfield can synchronize to build up from the back. SMH. Rofiat has been good, Ajibade's selfishness is not making it easy for her. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 3:59pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
Asisat is always playing to not get injured. I understand why. Especially with what happened in the past. But....m |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:59pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
I like Demehin a lot and believe she can still grow to become a true defensive leader in the Super Falcons but right now ain't no way she starts at the WC. Ohale (absent from this game) is yet to see anyone really threaten her place at the back. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 4:00pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
mostob:our defence in total. Na only ohale get better vision for that defence. Ajibade is off. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 4:00pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
HT: 🇳🇬 Nigeria 1-0 Haiti 🇭🇹 [Okoronkwo 40'] Asisat Oshoala had the ball at the back of the net, but it was rightfully ruled out for offside. Esther Okoronkwo curls a free-kick from the edge of the box into the back of the net to break the deadlock and score in back-to-back Super Falcons matches.

TheSuperNerd:Randy should just go with Ohale and Plumptree as the starting center at the world cup... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 4:04pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
mostob:Rufiat Imuran Graduating to the Superfalcons team while she’s still U20 Glory Ogbonna should just forget it, Rufiat Imuran is gradually settling in and getting better with each game… We need someone else to compete with Imuran as Glory can’t Bench her except she’s absent or injury comes in.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 4:04pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
I kinda like the daring runs from Alozie. She gives me more confidence of something happening on that wing than both Ajibade and Esther can. I'm just wondering, Is this how Ajibade plays in her club? You had 3 clear options in front of you but decided to enter traffic and lost the ball. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 4:05pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
Danielnino00:At least Demehin is an alternative.. She will get there |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:06pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
Deltamani:Thanks for keeping the thread going as usual my good admin. World cup fast approaches in July so the whole gang is bound to return with time. Cheers...

mostob:Ajibade problem is always not releasing the ball at the right time, if she manage pass na when her opponents don settle down she go pass… |

Wow. The comments here are interesting. Haiti, for a team that beat up on Senegal 4-0 last month and also beat the Mexican team in their own backyard 3-0 to qualify for the WWC playoffs a few months ago, I thought we played well in the first half. Their three very good players, Melchie Dumorney, Mondesir and Borgella were kept under wraps by the defense of Onome, Imuran and especially Alozie and Demehin. Demehin had a bit of a shaky start, but settled in very well, matching Melchie's pace and guile for the most part. Onome has lost some of her steel and was outmuscled off the ball a few times. Would like to see Plumptre in the second half. Save for her glaring misses, Ajibade looked okay on the left flank and she seems to combine well with Imuran who is slowly growing into her own. Not sure Esther is the right option on the right flank, as she seems to lack the necessary pace. All in all, a controlled and dominant first half for Nigeria. Better coordinated play (than in some of our recent games). Would like to see them move the ball faster, though. Also would like to see a few changes, like Uchenna Kanu, Ucheibe and Plumptre in the second half. |

mostob:She makes things tick. I wish she played as a wing. Only problem is she will be starved of the ball as there's not going to be a reliable Michelle ar RB to supply ball to RW Michelle. 😂😂 |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 4:10pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
AkinDS:Looks like we are ALWAYS watching two different SF matches. I don't get. I'm not going to use that to make Haiti look like worthy opponents. We lack coordination majorly. Ajibade is nothing to write home about. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 4:13pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
daveP:Ebi can actually read the game, Sometimes...Just that whatever her brain processes, her legs hasn't been able to translate as quick as possible 😂 Just in this game, she's completed more passes than anyone on the field and has also engage their attackers, closing them down, not allowing them space to turn and forcing them away from goal. I wish she still had any measurable pace on her. The rest of the defense and and Midfield has just been on ushering service 😂 |

Does Oshoala not realise this is not Barca that nobody is gonna deliver the ball to her ![]() |

TheSuperNerd:To tell the truth hers was harder because there were no teammates running in front to throw the keeper off. |

60th min mark, have we seen changes yet? I think the coach should make changes. Meanwhile I haven't seen Echeginni today, where is she playing? Looks anonymous to me at least today. Modified I see Onyi now in the 2nd half, didn't see much of her in the 1st. |
