I have answered your question. Nobody can win a national election in Nigeria without a mesh of relationships that cross language, culture and religion. So the answer is not whether Tinubu can do. I am saying anyone that anyone who wants to win the Nigerian Presidency can not do so solely on the basis of ideas.

Faced with the blandness of ideas - how is trust established. Two things. Prior records and relationships.

Tinubu won because he had the better record and the deeper relationships. Ten Northern governors across all the zones backed him. Others fell in line. He took advantage of the PDP's divisions. His polling agents were well organised veterans. He had the most sophisticated tech situation room, campaigned harder and earlier than anyone else.

At the end of the day it was a walk in the park.
