carbonado:No way Ucheibe sit on the bench. One of Jenny or Tony will have to make way. BTW, Ayinde won't be available for our first two games so that practically sort itself. |

Jojodjo:No big decision here though, Halimatu Ayinde have the edge as she’s a better passer. But if it’s a game against Cameroon, Ghana and Ivory Coast that are very Physical, I will start Halimatu and Ucheibe together.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 5:18pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Jojodjo:Christy will likely start as Halimatu's red card at afcon will keep her out of the first 2 games. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Danielnino00(m): 5:20pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
The team can still play like 3 friendlies before the world cup proper, and it'd be good if we get more teams like New Zealand..teams that are slightly ahead of us in the FIFA ranking, but still beatable... Czech republic, Italy and Belgium will be good picks... |

mostob:Onome Ebi will be 40 years old by May 8th, and going to the World Cup she would be 40+ and certainly the oldest or one of the oldest player going to the World Cup.. Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre should be our pair at the World Cup, Blessing Demehin and Onome Ebi as alternatives with Demehin to come in if need be.. Again I will have Nicole Payne ahead of Glory Ogbonna any day any time as my Alternative in the Full Back position for Rofiat Imuran and Michelle Alozie as she can play both sides… Something like this 1. Onome Ebi 2. Osinachi Ohale 3. Ashleigh Plumptre 4. Blessing Demehin 5. Michelle Alozie 6. Rofiat Imuran 7. Nicole Payne….. Glory Ogbonna a No No for me❌❌❌ |

Colin just said it all… The Bull If I be Randy Oparanozie will be a regular sub, once she comes in I push Asisat Oshoala to the wing..

daveP:...i do not expect Onome to play for the Falcons after the world cup, so that should sort things out with Plumptre. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 5:36pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Danielnino00:We have just one FIFA window left and it falls into the period teams are expected to be in training camps. If this is to happen at all, then the NFF has to be intentional about it. The season ends late May, but the champion's league final is 3rd June. We should ensure we pick a camp location that will allow for us to have these friendlies. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 5:38pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Deltamani:The FIFA calender seem to suggest maximum of 2 friendlies sha. Don't know if the rule is sacrosanct. Also not sure how all these will work together with camp. |

Overall, I’ll rate the SF 7/10 in this game. Aside from the first 30 minutes of the match, they were otherwise organized, compact and had the better scoring chances. The CB duo of Onome and Demehin were generally imperious, aside from the misplaced pass from Onome to Nnadozie which nearly resulted in a goal. But I’ll also note that there were times when a quick pass was the better option than unnecessarily holding onto the ball (Ajibade was mostly guilty of this). So, the coaching crew should keep working on this aspect of their game. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Jojodjo: 6:33pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
That's better, I hope they maintain this form though. lovewins: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 6:36pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
Assuming Ajibade and Ayinde are suspended from the first WC game, my 3-5-2 line up would look like this: ————————Nnadozie———————- ———Demehin——Onome—-Plumptree—— —Alozie—-Ucheibe—Echegini—Payne—Imuran ————— -Oshoala—-Oparanozie—————— |

Let's not forget. We still have creativity issues down the middle. That has not been sorted out yet. |

PDPGuy:... Ohale, Esther?? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Jojodjo: 6:44pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
True though Ucheibe has ginger like Kante that is needed while Ayinde's passing too is required. Deltamani: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by carbonado(m): 6:47pm On Apr 11, 2023 |
daveP:.. Absolutely, it has not been sorted out, that is why we must milk other avenue to score, e.g Corner kicks, free kicks.. As it stands we must be very intentional about looking for those freekicks at vital spots, looking for those corner kicks till we get a player that can really create or till we get a coach that can make the players use spaces well. |

PDPGuy:Ohale will be healthy for the World Cup |
