If we get Eze in, he and Iwobi will be our first choice AM go-to options.

CM options would be Nwakali and Alhassan.

DM options would be Ndidi (experience sake) and Onyedika.

The right personnel all with their distinct profiles in the roles they occupy and with technical/tactical traits that compliment their midfield partners.

Outside these 6, we can add Etebo, Onyeka, Abbas, Aribo*, Bonke, as options carefully analysed options in case any of the tactically balanced 6 aren't available.

These names are not just being reeled out because they are sweet to call. They are being reeled out coz I have long done my homework on what our midfield truly needs.

Dt guy and nwakali needs to be looked at asap

And any oda good dm( ndidi is not in form) and it’s ball playing ability is so limited

Excellent fight back from 2 goals down by the defending NPFL Laliga promises U15 Champions.

What a game. That Ken of Lobi has got a fine left foot finish in him but the Remo Boys have admirable mental strength and composure.

14 and 15 year olds producing such good football and someone wants us to think it isn't possible with the Super Eagles. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Been shouting it for close to 2 yrs now. We need to install Ndidi's Upgrade in the Super Eagles sooner than later.

He isn't the force he once was. Since his peak season showing in 2020/21, he has been on a downslide. Unfortunate but it's the reality we face.

You don't speak for all coaches mister. Rest!

Onyedika is a proper CDM. Onyeka is a different midfield profile with engine to roam and not sit as the holding or defensive midfielder.

Unlucky Ndidi! Trying to move his hand away from the ball but the ball still came to meet his hand. Penalty scored. City 2 up in 15 minutes. I see Leicester bouncing back

No coach will start Onyedika over Onyeka.
That is the truth whether you like it or not.
I watch Onyedika every game at Brugge.
He lacks pace tracking back and the intelligent to sniff danger.
That was the reason the new coach started benching him, fortunately, others were not any better. And he was put back in the starting 11.
An Onyeka will start every single game at Brugge! All day everyday!

The pitch matters a lot. IMO the pitch at Remo Stars stadium is 10 times better than the one in Abuja.

The same Onyedika I also watch. It just shows that you are either capping or you just don't observe as much when you watch games.

Onyedika lacks pace?? Isn't intelligent?? Was benched? So you don't know Raphael was injured for a bit and had to be eased back in from the bench for a few games? He immediately got his starting spot once he was 100% good to go.

His last game saw him complete the most passes for all players on the pitch fot 90mins and also saw him make 10 recoveries in addition to making 3 interceptions and wining 5 out of 8 ground duels.

Man, you have totally misanalysed Onyedika same way you misanalyse other players.

The Truth is Onyeka is not a 2nd phase midfielder whereas Onyedika is. That alone tells me the distinct difference between both as midfielders.

Not downplaying the influence of decent pitches or anything but us hiding under the pitch excuse isn't doing justice to the main issues affecting the Super Eagles plays.

I saw Egypt spank Malawi 4-0 in the AfconQs on a pitch in Lilongwe that is no better than the pitch in Egypt where Egypt played and won 2-0. Egypt did so playing some beautiful football.

So again, kudos to the Remo and Lobi lads.

You read statistics, I watched the games. "He lacks pace tracking back is not the same as he lacks pace". Okay. Most of you guys do not understand the use of English! Just like you and others make baseless assumptions!
Whenever, his team lose the ball he does not track back quick enough! You give your own analysis based on statistics, I give based on experience and observation. Many of you here do not watch football real time. Just heresay and fake stats. Facts!
How many assists has he made? How many goals has he scored? Compared to Onyeka who plays in a more competitive league!

Listen Mister, You obviously don't "watch" games. You only claim you do.

I watch games and also view the stats. Been doing this long before you walked in here claiming whatever you are and always doing so by dropping disrespectful/disgusting comments towards the thread.

You are the guy who said Ekong could play DM and just yesterday claimed Messi is an AM. Lol.... Your ball knowledge is quite questionable if I am being very frank.

Asking me how many assists and goals a CDM has is basic amateurish questioning-analysis. Are CDMs supposed to present prominently with goals and assists? Lol.

Pray tell, did you watch Onyedika's last game vs Seraing? You are just spitting bogus claims. The Onyedika I watch has shown a good burst of pace when driving forward with the ball and his recovery trait is well noted as even the stats show this.

Did you watch his battle with Alhassan Yusuf when Brugge clashed with Antwerp earlier in the season? Man, you are just spitting untrue stuffs and buttering it up with "many here do not watch football". And you do?? Yet Ekong can play DM well according to what you watch?? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Probably what you look out for is a player constantly making 100m sprints throughout the entire 90minsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ That is your own way of "analysing" trackback stats. It is really sad that you don't see what Onyedika brings. Well, Player profiling is obviously not for everyone. You are clearly bad at it.

Ndidi was a defender now plays DM. Awaziem plays DM on few occasions for Leganes. Whoscored listed Watford formation and put Ekong at DM. I saw the formation and wrote Ekong might be an interesting DM. So what is bad in that. Guy, you are a sickoo, yours sincerely! lol Get well soon. I wrote, Messi plays as an attacking midfielder operating from the right. He creates as well as score! What is the lie in that? Guy go sleep!
