The CAD $9k at Humber is it for a year? And wym should you refuse the offer because the tuition is 9k? Were you not expecting to pay tuition? 😂😂😂

Check schools that support Mpower. So far that’s the only one I know. But they don’t support colleges- so you’ll need to check universities in Canada that Mpower supports. Then you’ll now deal with how do you get admission to these universities (since we all know how tight and competitive it is to get admission in Canadian Universities)

May God help and strengthen you.

Alternatively, you can be working and saving small small in Nigeria, when you gather small money you can push your education forward.

Just take it one step at a time and know it’s not a do-or-die matter.

Ok thanks I will go on Google and check for the uni with Mpowerr. Thank you once again

Please which one is introduction letter from IRCC
chrisoo:
Hello NLanders,

Significant Landing Gist ( Be Careful with your documents and luggage at the Airport)

To God be the Glory! I landed Toronto Pearson Int'l Airport 2 days ago and and have received my Study Permit at the immigration office in the YYZ airport. The devil tried to stop me but God granted me grace and favor and I scaled through. I flew Ethiopian Airlines which was scheduled to fly from Lagos to Toronton (Canada) via Addis Ababa in Ethiopia - Dublin (Ireland) - Toronto. Due to rush, some of my documents which I was reviewing on my laps in the airplane slipped from my hand and fell on the floor of the airplane- under the seat, and I didnt know. These were reciepts of my sch fees, Letter of Intro from IRCC and LOA etc. I only discovered when we were boarding the connecting flight to Dublin...I was reviewing my next ticket for transfer flight. We had only 30 mins to start boarding the connecting flight to Dublin. I reported to Bole - Ethipian Airport officials)...they told me to wait that they will fetch it but it will take some time. At this time, I had only 15 mins left to Board. There was also a lady who forgot her laptop in the plane. When i told her about my own problem...she quickly said its a small matter. (she was going to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe). She said, if I have those docs in my phone...I could show the Canadian Immigration the docs in my phone. Immediately, I brought out my laptop from my hand luggage (Thank God its in my hand luggage not checked in box), transferred all relevant docs from my system to my phone via whatsapp sharing app. I ran and join the queue for boarding. I continue praying for favor to have the soft copies accepted at Toronton by immigration. To the Glory of God, the officer that interviewed me agreed look at the documents which I had already packaged in a folder on my phone. Thank God for technology. The young man was greatly satisfied with the documents and all the questions he asked based on what I submitted during my application in Nigeria. You know there was no physical interview in Nigeria...Just online submission and approval (in principle) pending arrival for physical interview at any Canadian Boarder. My interview lasted just 15 mins but the man touched almost everything in my IRCC Portal. There was a crowd of about 50 persons waiting behind me on queue, as they do in USA embassy in Lagos, but the difference is that Canadian are more humane, kind and patient to hear you out. Our God is wonderful. Lessons: If you are coming through YYZ (Pearson International Airport, Toronto), be sure to have your:
1. Letter of Introduction
2. Updated Letter of Acceptance.
3. Evidence of School Fees Payment OR Proof of Fund for Tuition (They are more interested in Tuition Payment)
4. Ensure to understand your own form and all the information therein. They will recall your IRCC Portal with your UCI number and pick questions at random.
5. Be sure you follow your agent strictly and closely (for those who use agents) and make sure all information are correct. Any discrepant answer will warrant you to be sent back to Nigeria. Right in my presence, someone from Africa (I dont know which country but I suspect Nigeria) was sent back due to fake documents. Please lets be careful. May God help us all!

Army2022:
Ethiopian airline is cheaper. You can pay in naira. You can as well go to their office in VI Lagos , book and pay through transfer.
I seriously doubt that.

I tried using Ethiopian airlines to book for August and I was seeing 1m+

Meanwhile Lufthansa charges around 980usd which is approx 740k+(black market)

So except there's another way of booking with Ethiopian that I'm not aware of

when does your old passport expire? if it expires after your planned travel date then submit that one for visa stamping. collect your new one from ikoyi before you travel and carry both with you to travel.

Take the IRCC letter to the passport office and request to see the PCO. Plead with them and they will fast track it for you. I had a similar situation and that was what saved me. However, mine was another Passport office not Ikoyi.

Hello House,
Please when application is submitted,
How does the biometric appointment works.
Is it that you will be the one to pick a date or a date will be fixed for you.

Question on Transfer of DLI inside Canada

If I decide to change or transfer from my current school to a Pgwp approved DLI by next semester, ie Sept. When should I send webform to IRCC notifying them about my change/transfer?

Must I wait till the end of this semester or should I send it while this semester is ongoing?

If I decide to withdraw from the current school before the semester ends, will it affect me negatively, immigration wise? Irrespective of the fact that I have sent webform to IRCC notifying them about my new school starting in September?

What are the documents to send via webform apart from offer letter of the new school. Must I pay tuition of the new school first before I can transfer?

I just visited the school's site, the IELTS score they want is a band 6.5, I scored band 6.0 and they offer few courses too, the fee per course unit is between 6k-11k CAD and for PGD its a 7 unit course. Thank you so much. What do you advice I do? That means I need to take IELTS or Duolingo right?

I can help u make payment u will credit me Naira. If u want
Predator188:

It is obvious that you have insufficient funds. That is 10.5 m +2.5m
Maintenance/living expenses per year for 5 family member is: spouse:4000 +other:3000+3000+3000+3000=16000 cad per year + student=26000 cad per year equivalent of 8,88,4025 naira

The reality is that, the minimum funds per year for maintenance stated by IRCC is just minimum funds as it is ..when you arrive in canada you will spend more than that on living expenses alone. Including flight ticket for family of 6 with provided bank balance of 10.5m +2.5m...with this also spouse applied for visitor visa instead of open work permit.

4 to 6yrs PHD @ 9300 cad per year equivalent of 3,177,233 per year,Ircc will expect you to have more funds in bank balance other than previous bank balance provided and source of funds to support you in next 4 to 6 year..that is tuitions,3,177,233 naira +maintenance 8,884,025 naira per year

Good morning everyone, I’m new here,
I’m a Nigerian, I’m 31, I just graduated with a 3rd class grade, studied entrepreneurial and business management, I am a fashion designer, I own a registered fashion designing business.
I’d love to apply for a study visa to Canada. I was scammed over #4M, 2years for this journey to Canada, though I’m yet to recover from it because it drove me to depression, that was all my life savings then, but I’m grateful to the Almighty that I feel better than I used to
I need your advice, during my years in National Open University, I had a break from school for some years before I final completed this year and collected my certificate this week

(1) can I apply for student visa with a grade as low as 3rd class
Will I be granted admission and visa
(2) can i apply for a student visa at 31years

Hello guys,
Please those who applied together as family, how long did it take to get biometrics letter for the family members.

I submitted my application two days ago, I applied together with my spouse,
I’m the primary applicant and my biometrics letter have been sent early yesterday but have not received for my spouse.

Please do they usually send the letter together or how long it took for the spouse or other family members to get the biometrics letter?.

Is it ideal to start sending mails to them now regarding the letter?

Please your responses will be much appreciated.

Please I am new here.I submitted my visa application on the 28 of March and I haven’t received any update. They have my biometrics, medicals everything because it’s a second application. I have sent a mail but nothing has been updated I am to resume in 3 weeks. (May) and I can not defer . What do I do
calm down, you’ll get an update when the time comes. I and a friend did biometrics same day in February, I got my PPR in march, he’s yet to see any update on his application. I’ll advise to start booking for Medicals if you didn’t do upfront. I wish you the best.
