LP's Gbadebo Reacts To Lagos State Government Criticism On “Gangs of Lagos” Film

Labour Party's governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has reacted to Lagos State government's criticsm on the “Gangs of Lagos” film/series, IGBERETV reports.

Lagos State Government had condemned the “Gangs of Lagos” film/series, stating that it mocked the cultural heritage of the people of Lagos.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Gbadebo wrote;

Jade Osiberu who is the daughter of Oba Osiberu and the creator of 'Gangs of Lagos', in an interview said they met with some people in Isale-Eko and even the co-writer of the movie is a guy from Isale-Eko, they got to spend 50 days there shooting the movie.........why did the LASG and the traditional institutions there keep quiet while the movie was being shot because majority of the scenes was shot outdoors and cannot claim ignorance?
