I don’t know how it works I mean
(Applyboard) is it like on the sites of schools or
Please I don’t understand can you explain more about the (Applyboard)
Thank you very much
Go to the website. You can simply Google applyboard and it will come up. Then you register. Everything on the website is explained and easy to use. They work directly with a lot of schools and can immediately show you the schools and programs you are eligible for with your grades

Make sure your network connection is also strong on your end as many people including myself have used it and are still using it without issues. Hope you are not using an erratic network provider such as glo.
Alternatively you can use the new portal (Google search)

If you started with GCKey you will have to finish with it unless you don't mind starting over again. There might be a platform update going on if it's unusable in a day. If it is persistent for a few days contact them directly. I am not sure if the new portal does study permit. I was advised by my school to use GCkey.

If your mom is late, shouldn't the land be in probate so it can be put into the inheritor's name? It might not work if it is not in your name and no chance of a gift deed.

If there is no group for University of Winnipeg for September 2023, and May group/ our neighbours University of Manitoba don't want to adopt us Let us form a new Whatsapp group. (I would very much like it to be combined with University of Manitoba since we will be living in the same city and our goals are common)

Hi Guys,
Please I need advise, I am a newbie here and about starting the whole admission process against January 2024. I graduated with a 2'1. I wanted to apply at Fanshaw and Humber college for a PG program but someone told me that I shouldn't because it is for those with 2'2 and below that I should look for universities to apply to instead.
I don't know how true this is and that's why I came to this platform for advise and help.
I would be grateful if someone can help me clarify things, thanks guys smiley

First of all let me correct an impression. Colleges are not for only people with 2’2 and below. Most people choose colleges because it avails lots of hands-on experience and high technical proficiency, which may be limited at the Universities.
However, colleges are easier to get admissions.

Then for Universities, there’s the taught-based and thesis-route Master’s; so it depends on what you seek.
When you opt for most of the thesis-route programs, you may get funding. Some taught Master’s also offer funding.

Now what is the challenge with universities as opposed to colleges?

The admissions at the University are HIGHLY Competitive.

So if your leg strong, put body.

As for me I’ll advise you look forward to fall 2024.
- work on yourself; get extra research/educational skills
- revamp your CV.
- Work on your SOP
- Research on different programs of interest and entry requirements; reach out to the grad Coordinators.
- Get strong letters of recommendation.
- Have a budget (very important).

All the best,
W

Depends on you. With your grades you should be eligible for most universities but colleges do tend to be cheaper with more lenient requirements. Regardless going for a college as opposed to a university doesn't harm your chances of getting a study permit.

Pls try to listen, to avoid regrets later. What u need here is letter nd affidavit of sponsorship and establish ur relationship with the so called third party. Leave gift deed out of this. There is difference between a sponsor and someone just gifting u money. A sponsor does not need a deed to show his commitment to u, what he needs is to show his relationship with u, why he’s sponsoring u and that he’s financially capable to do so (via his bank statement). Note that he is not gifting u money here per say, he is sponsoring u so whatever money he sent to ur account is a show of commitment to keep to his promise not a philanthropic act.

Noted. Thanks

Hello house

Please advise on what to do. I applied for study permit sometimes last year, and was meant to resume latest January this year.. but then my ppr just came out last month. And I'm looking to change university and the area. Should I do that while still here in Nigeria won't it affect my Visa or when I get there?

Please I wanna ask if it's still logical to apply now for admission for Fall 2023 if the application is still open. I want to apply for fall 2023 admission with June 30 deadline at CNA.

I guess you didn't explain to them properly. If you can't convince the school it will be harder to convince IRCC. You should look for a course that focuses more on project management as the specialisation. Project management might only be a small part of the MBA programme you chose. To them, you look over-qualified and they have nothing new to teach you. If its the MBA you want to redo, explain your first MBA was inadequate (with some proof like your academic results) and you want to learn from seasoned professionals. It may be a tough sell but worth a shot. If Project Management is what you want then look for a course that will focus 100% on it.

Hello NLanders,

Significant Landing Gist ( Be Careful with your documents and luggage at the Airport)

To God be the Glory! I landed Toronto Pearson Int'l Airport 2 days ago and and have received my Study Permit at the immigration office in the YYZ airport. The devil tried to stop me but God granted me grace and favor and I scaled through. I flew Ethiopian Airlines which was scheduled to fly from Lagos to Toronton (Canada) via Addis Ababa in Ethiopia - Dublin (Ireland) - Toronto. Due to rush, some of my documents which I was reviewing on my laps in the airplane slipped from my hand and fell on the floor of the airplane- under the seat, and I didnt know. These were reciepts of my sch fees, Letter of Intro from IRCC and LOA etc. I only discovered when we were boarding the connecting flight to Dublin...I was reviewing my next ticket for transfer flight. We had only 30 mins to start boarding the connecting flight to Dublin. I reported to Bole - Ethipian Airport officials)...they told me to wait that they will fetch it but it will take some time. At this time, I had only 15 mins left to Board. There was also a lady who forgot her laptop in the plane. When i told her about my own problem...she quickly said its a small matter. (she was going to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe). She said, if I have those docs in my phone...I could show the Canadian Immigration the docs in my phone. Immediately, I brought out my laptop from my hand luggage (Thank God its in my hand luggage not checked in box), transferred all relevant docs from my system to my phone via whatsapp sharing app. I ran and join the queue for boarding. I continue praying for favor to have the soft copies accepted at Toronton by immigration. To the Glory of God, the officer that interviewed me agreed look at the documents which I had already packaged in a folder on my phone. Thank God for technology. The young man was greatly satisfied with the documents and all the questions he asked based on what I submitted during my application in Nigeria. You know there was no physical interview in Nigeria...Just online submission and approval (in principle) pending arrival for physical interview at any Canadian Boarder. My interview lasted just 15 mins but the man touched almost everything in my IRCC Portal. There was a crowd of about 50 persons waiting behind me on queue, as they do in USA embassy in Lagos, but the difference is that Canadian are more humane, kind and patient to hear you out. Our God is wonderful. Lessons: If you are coming through YYZ (Pearson International Airport, Toronto), be sure to have your:
1. Letter of Introduction
2. Updated Letter of Acceptance.
3. Evidence of School Fees Payment OR Proof of Fund for Tuition (They are more interested in Tuition Payment)
4. Ensure to understand your own form and all the information therein. They will recall your IRCC Portal with your UCI number and pick questions at random.
5. Be sure you follow your agent strictly and closely (for those who use agents) and make sure all information are correct. Any discrepant answer will warrant you to be sent back to Nigeria. Right in my presence, someone from Africa (I dont know which country but I suspect Nigeria) was sent back due to fake documents. Please lets be careful. May God help us all!

Thank you much Anori. Your explanation above makes a lot of 'brain '😀. I have really learnt a lot from this your response.

Originally I would have taken off the MBA but someone else had done that before and they still requested for it, though he got the admission. I would have dwelt on the academic records but my grades were fine. While waiting for their feedback, I will explore other courses as rightly advised. Thank you ao very much for being kind with this detailee response
