With Ac off in traffic you get better economy.

Average 24mpg on highway, 16mpg in city
some parts are cheap (70%)

maintainance is easy, car doesn't pull leg, car have simple suspension, shock rarely goes bad, weight is well distributed.

don't expect super performance like regularly k24 Honda Engine, car was calibrated to accelerate gradually and not fast revving like other hondas, on the good side the engine wouldn't wear as fast as the fast ones and the demand on the transmission well controlled. you will get use to this though.

Hello guys, what kind of steering oil can I buy for my Ford Focus 2009? I noticed some sound when I turn the steering, especially when branching, though the sound is still there when driving straight. The mechanic said my steering oil is due for change.

Let me guess, your speedometer also stopped working?

Check your speed sensors... Or ABS sensors

My foreign used es330 recently started doing hard starting. I will turn the key up to 4 times before it starts. Sometimes it starts at a single key turn. Sometimes at 2 or more key turns.

It doesn't happen only in the mornings. But once it starts, it starts easily at the first key turn.

I also noticed if I rev the car at gear one, it moves slowly before changing to the second gear and then it moves well after that.

I haven't repaired anything in the car except change oil and clean the air filter.

What could be the problem?

Possibly

Fuel pressure

And

Failing transmission.

Fuel pressure Inspect fuel pressure values after sitting off engine to ensure pressure is maintained in the rail lines .

Transmission inspect quality of transmission oil, drain replace filter and bang out any dents on the pan and refill with Toyota WS oil.

Long term fuel trim is reading+25.

Black soot deposit in the exhaust pipe

Fuel consumption is high.

I got a system too lean code upon scanning.

Car is Honda Accord 2007.

I scanned my car and got the following codes: P0135 P1253 P1887
Car is Honda City 2006 It was having excessive fuel consumption and a little smoking what repairs should I carry out please

I suspect the MAF.

Here are my reasons:

With car parked overnight, and a very cold morning,

Ambient temperature on dashboard reads 25 degrees Celsius which makes sense.

While intake temperature reads 40 degrees.

I believe Air intake temperature sensor is together with the MAF sensor in Honda Accord 2007 I4.

With car parked overnight, these readings should almost tally.

What do you think sir?

Go with your mechanic. Check the temperature of the external cover of the catalyst after test drive . Try driving the car up hill to see power. Test drive with Ac on. Check power with step down acceleration. All things being equal, a bad fuel pump can also cause this issues.

Good day guys,
please I'm here on a very urgent issues, I noticed my Kia optima 2013( note. The car has a turbocharger ) , start giving out smoke but stop after awhile, when I noticed this, I talk to my machanic which suggest it might be due to worn out ring, although I did my research and discovered faulty turbo charger can cause a car to emit smoke, so I talk to him, and the car was taken to those that fix turbo charger, note. It actually did fix the issues, but this week when I did oil change, I noticed the smoke again, which made me wonder what might be the cause,
So, my question now Is, could it be the turbo charger that's the issue or the worn out piston rings,?
If it's worn out piston ring, it's advisable to replace
Or should I take the car back to those guys that repair turbo charged for further complain

Hello everyone, I have an urgent issue to discuss. Recently, I noticed that my 2013 Kia Optima turbocharged car was emitting smoke, but the smoke would stop after a while. I spoke to my mechanic about it, and he suggested that it might be due to worn-out piston rings. However, I did some research and found out that a faulty turbocharger can also cause a car to emit smoke. As a result, I had my car taken to a repair shop that specializes in fixing turbochargers, and they were able to fix the problem.

However, this week, when I had my oil changed, I noticed the smoke again, which made me wonder what could be the cause. So, my question now is, could it be the turbocharger that's the issue, or is it the worn-out piston rings? If it's the worn-out piston rings, it's advisable to have them replaced. Alternatively, should I take my car back to the repair shop that fixed the turbocharger for further complaints? Thank you.

"P2109 - Throttle / Pedal Position Sensor 'A' Minimum Stop Performance "

I got other error codes too but when I cleared code, only the above remained.

Oga Gazzuzz,

I scanned my car ES 330 and it says that my knock sensor, bank 1 and 2 is faulty (P0325 and P0330). I have changed upto 4 different sensors and it still brings out CEL after clearing it.

We have checked the harness and it's in good condition and we have actually used 2 different harnesses.

What could be the problem?

All the sensors were tokunbo and untested. How can I get original and tested sensors?

Could it be something else that's wrong?
