olaleyeh5: Unfortunately, you messed up. Big time. If I were the interviewer, I would even ban you - if possible. Did you really say those things in the interview? Like seriously! I'm sorry I sound harsh but I'm very angry now. You threw away your chance just because you were not coordinated. How were you planning to finish your Masters in the UK? Simple interview, you messed up. Nobody should come for me. I'm so angry this guy messed up and threw away this opportunity. You learnt the hard way. Better luck next time. 8 Likes |

olaleyeh5:TCD has clearly said to you “If truly what they wrote there is what you responded in that interview, do not waste your time. I beg you.”and you are still asking the same TCD but wait are you saying I should not apply for it at all or i should apply?. You are not ready, take some time and work on your comprehension skills then apply later or do other things. 3 Likes |

Getting UK visit visa is harder than getting US visit visa now .... The matter still no clear yet. To get 6month visit visa to the UK come hard pass US that will even currently give 5years. |

nah i am not trying to be mean, I'm just pissed. How can you go all the way to get CAS, and not know simple knowledge on why you even want to study in the UK? You rely on an agent. Is it the agent that is going to the UK to study for you? Some things are just common sense forget. It wouldn't even take 10 mins to research the school, the course and the post-graduate benefits. In fact, if OP had just been sincere to say 'see o, truth be say, I just wan commot naija through study route ', it would have even been better than saying cramped answers that makes no sense. Now he is here crying about AR. You have time and money for AR, but couldn't do simple research on your UK waka. Oga SHAME ON YOU! 9JAFULLBREED: 4 Likes |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 8:36am On Apr 19, 2023 |
Bmuhd4smile: Not really difficult. Just fill the online form carefully. Have a reason for the trip and make sure your finances are in order. I will admit it is easier for children and those in paid employment. Entrepreneurs, senior citizens and young adults have it a bit tougher. However, once you master the requirements, it's almost a walk over. If you have a prior visa, simple save the form and repeat most of your answers for your subsequent visas. Change only things that need to be changed - e.g your savings and perharps reason for the visit. 3 Likes |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by geolan(m): 7:52pm On Apr 19, 2023 |
geolan: Update on my visa renewal application 2yrs tourist visa. Submitted application online on April 6, 2023. Transferred to DMC same day Received by DMC on April 11, 2023. (Due to the holidays) Transferred to VAC April 18, 2023 Passport picked up today April 19, 2023. It literally took like 5 working days. Initial successful visa application was 6 months which I did last year even-though I had two previous refusals in 2016 and 2021 (I always declare them). In filling this form, just as a lot of people have advised, I basically used most of the information on my last form and edited the few part that needed to be updated. Thanks to the house!! 7 Likes |

Hello everyone, I applied for British citizenship by decent from Nigeria because my mom is a British citizen by birth. My worry is I didn’t include my passport with my supporting documents and they have made a decision on my application already but I am yet to receive via Royal Mail. Will they refuse my application because I didn’t include my passport? |

hunee: No it is not, pls stop paddling such narrative. 1. It will discourage/deter persons with genuine interests and documents not to apply if they feel they have no luck. 2. It will encourage persons with no documents or genuine interest to apply if they feel they have the "luck" 3 Likes |

Leef, leave me abeg. Wetin na? You no dey see refusal letter everywhere. Make God help us abeg, wahala don too much untop this visa thing leef2022: To some extent, i agree with you. However, intending applicants should prepare their minds for anything. Visa is now by luck. Tho, document too aids, but the end, Na God hand you dey o The narrative is usually different, if you have not gotten like two refusals back to back. Go to US thread. When it keeps coming, UKVI ecos are the best! We KNOW better. 1 Like 1 Share |

hunee: I have had 3 refusals in the past for the UK, US, and Sweden. I can confidently tell you in all three occasions my intentions, interests and documents were not sync and the refusals were spot on. However, I have gone on to hold short-term and long-term visas for the above stated states/countries and all I needed to do was get and submit the right documents with genuine interests, not to mention a dual citizen with another state not mentioned. Whilst, errors exist with some decisions, I kid you not the ratio is minimal as compared to right decisions made. 3 Likes |

Some elements of faxx. It happens like that tho in very rare cases leef2022: Above all, it is resillence that makes people continue to push until they break even. Like the cases i have seen here, having 3/4 refusals is not a joke. This incidences can really bring the applicant to a state of total frustration. That is why i spoke about divinity in all of this. Some people get it once on first trial, some have to go 4/5 times before they get it. The message is for all, Do not give up. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks again for the engagement. You are gradually turning a new "leaf" . I am delighted to engage you more cordialement. |
