It’s almost five months now, I still do not have appetite to eat, I can’t bring myself to listen to love songs as it saddens me, I still cry everyday and everything reminds me of him.

If you're "really" heart broken. It takes an average of 4years to heal satisfactorily, but may take a decade to heal completely. No amount of being busy, and singing praises can help you. It will only distract you for the time being.
The only thing I know that can help is a paradigm shift. You must re-evaluate your reasoning, how you understand human relationships. Then you'd realise why the heartbreak happened and the roles you played in it.
Understanding the why, leads you to accept the situation and head for higher grounds.

just because men "seem" to move on unfazed after a breakup, doesnt mean we do...its just that we are better at dealing with our emotions (while we all know you women are emotional wrecks).

everyone is different, every r/ship is different, but no matter the breakup, eventually you will get over it.

It should pass away before a year, except you have mental health challenges. Naturally, once out of sight, also out of mind. If it lingers go for psychiatric treatment or psychological counseling.

There is no specific and standard period of time for the healing of heartbreak. It depends on the level of love you have too. And there is no single thing you can do to quick heal your heart pain. But also bear in mind that everyone must experience heartbreak. I was heartbroken twice in 2019. Those heartbreaks were worse than physical pain. I want you to know that it is a normal thing not because you are unfortunate.

Well, the word heartbreak is being misused these days. A little disappointment and you will hear heartbreak. Real heartbreak takes a long time to heal. If you healed and moved on within months, then you were never heartbroken. It has nothing to do with mental health.

If you have your pics of memories together, delete them asap; so as not to found your self in another level of predicament. lastly; stop revisiting your old chats. read books also such as 'games people play' and 'game of desire'

Heart breaks is part of relationships experience

So you have mourn the dead relationship

You have to dust yourself and move on to another relationship before your mind will develop hatred for relationship

Next time don't allow such relationship to be too long, you will end up hoping on an empty relationship

Heart break is very possible to reach 4 years.. even more.

First, you've to be intentional about moving on..
Second, try and start going out more often.. Do what makes you happy...Take pictures and keep telling yourself you'll be fine..
You don't have to jump into another relationship if you're not ready.. Take your time...
