After suffering underdevelopment, marginalisation and bad leadership for years, since Nigeria's independence. A politician is still talking about miscalculations in the last elections... because him and his likes lost the election.

All they care about is their personal glory and loot!

How many Nigerian politicians truly care about the welfare of their people?!!

Simple problem with the oppositon campaign was that it was divided between the Igbo desire to have a president, the christian desire to have a president, and Atiku wanting so much to be president.

At the end, the divisions led to us getting Tinubu.

Tinubu was going to lose. It was very clear. But the oppositon then got divided, and the division cost them dearly.

If everyone in the opposition had supported Atiku...and I say this as someone who does not like Atiku....and thinks it is the turn of the Igbos to produce the president , APC would have been knocked out.

The thing about politics is that politics is about working with what you have, not what you wish you have. Most people in the democratic party won't have voted for a Biden, but the thing is, Biden was the only one who could stop Trump in 2020. And he did.

Am sure most in the Opposition wished they had an Obi. But at the end, it was not enough.

Here we are.

Tinubu didn't win because the opposition was divided...even Tinubu lost in some areas considered as his stronghold. The race was between APC, PDP and LP and it was very competitive. We all know why and how Tinubu won.

The truth is that the Igbos have not learned any lessons in the Nigeria project.

They are hateful.

Lack decent comportment socially, economically and politically.

No clear leadership among them.

No cohesion.

The NIGERIA project is bigger than a race war.

Well spoken, I’m afraid grammatical errors and an inutile use of wording have made parts of your write up incomprehensible.I don’t believe that obi inspired any hatred during his campaign, and if he did, I’d like someone to upload concrete evidence. I imagine that The Igbo political class would fare better in a parallel universe where there was higher connectivity. As of now, Nigerian politics is dictated by tribal and religious affiliation not facts or figures, and that’s the reason why we’ve had buhari and now tinubu. A lack of access to information and a proportionally smaller access to truthful information in major parts of the company has rendered the majority population inherently destructive and easily swayed in the wrong direction.

God bless you my dear.

To the first part of the Triad. Mr Obi has set the Igbo political trajectory 24/32 years back. He has become a twin Blight & Scourge on the Land. His devious Opium served to Christians within sections of Nigeria and to Igbo domiciled in different sections of Nigeria is severely Addictive and non detoxifying!

To the 2nd part of the Triad. The OhaNaEze Grown elders who kept quiet while the goats labored tethered will live to regret their political miscalculations. As Governor,I knew they were essentially inert. So shallow!

Igbos will not agree with him now, but surely they’ll be alive to see the reality. They've shown to Nigeria at large that they're naturally intolerant, divisive, bigotry & hate-filled..

grin... you think say na only Igbos dey use naira for Nigeria? We are all in the mess...if Nigeria is good and working, I assure you that an average Igbo
person won't care about who is the president except the politicians, who are only after their own pockets.

The funny thing is that Igbo man has not ruled Nigeria for decades, yet the country is in shambles.

The way Igbo get mentioned, one would think that it's the Igbos that have destroyed our country, economy and security.

Obi won the election coming distant third.
In your deluded Igbo mind Pandoraa Obi will win Atiku in a presidential election in this same Nigeria m not Biafra ?

The you clannish Igbo comment as if the rest of us no get sense still baffles me.

mrvitalis:
Lmfao this election loss pain this one

From your logic Igbos should have not supported obi ...we should have supported Tinubu a known corrupt drug baron ...so that what would happen ?

Everyone knows what obi can bring to an alliance ... without contesting he would never have this respect he has now ....obi won this election hands down n the political class know ....even if obi fails to regain his mandate

Tinubu would perform woefully

Politicians would be begging to form alliance with Obi

Now chimaroke should tell us what he achieved for igboland

One thing I love about the Yoruba people is the tendency of telling lies in order to prove a point.

An election was organised in Nigeria and you used thugs to beat up people suspected to come from a particular region in order to have your way and win the election.

Then you had your way, today, you are telling Nigerians that Igbos Igbos are the problem with the progress they would have made.

What is actually the problem with you people?

Is it that you are stupid or what?

What an Igbo man is asking for is equal rights and justice in all areas of our national livers, is that too much for you to understand?

You people are bunch of Hypocritics.
