SIRTee15:Nice dodging technique. But what else do u expect from dumb ignorant chrissies. Ok, when you apologize to me first, then I'll reciprocate. If u don't, then consider this our parting words, you quack. Next time chose who you cross swords with. Lemme sit back and watch as Maynmann continue to school you on your own book. Ciao ![]() |

Maynman:I asked chatgpt if Serapis were ever called Christians. Here is the response: Were Serapis ever called Christians No, Serapis was not called Christians. Serapis was a syncretic deity created by Ptolemy I of Egypt in the 3rd century BCE by combining elements of Greek and Egyptian religion. Serapis was associated with the underworld and the afterlife and was often depicted as a bearded man wearing a modius (a type of Egyptian headdress). Christianity, on the other hand, emerged several centuries later in the 1st century CE in the Roman province of Judea. The term "Christian" was first used to describe the followers of Jesus Christ in the city of Antioch in the early years of the movement, as recorded in the New Testament book of Acts. While there were many different religious and cultural influences present in the Roman Empire during this time, including the syncretic religion of Serapis, there is no evidence to suggest that early Christians were ever associated with this deity or called by this name. So if Herod lived in Judea, how was he able to travel to Antioch in far away turkey looking for those to call Christians.. |

jaephoenix:Damage control after u've been bruised and battered till u became confused. Why did u misquote TenQ. If I may ask? Did our username looked similar to u or we were troubling your life so much u made us one. Anyway, let's find a way to close the case. Do u know u admit that my index case is a metastatic fungating cervical cancer stage 4 WITHOUT TREATMENT. as clearly stated here by myself. Besides the case u posted here as evidence is stage 3. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 8:07pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Maynman:This statement is wrong, very wrong. U may want to correct yourself. Even your evidence says you wrong. |

SIRTee15:I said followers of serapis are called christians. Agrippa was reigning over territories outside of judea.

SIRTee15:1. Bros, our discourse was on SR not on stage 4 SR, stop shifting the goalpost. Besides, late stages have SR as documented by journals 2. Whether it misquoted TenQ or not, is irrelevant. Dont bring up irrelevancies just like I don't bring up any which you have committed here, but I overlook 3. I can equally tell you I have a late stage prostatic CA with a SR just like you quoted your own late stage cervical CA with SR, without any evidence. But in my own case I brought out evidence from medical journals. |

Maynman:But have we settled the matter on the identity of early Christians or u want to argue with artificial intelligence. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by Maynman: 8:44pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
SIRTee15:Which identity of early Christians? That they were called Nazarene? Better ask chatgpt about what christ means.

Maynman:This is the one I want to share. In his book "Jesus, Interrupted: Revealing the Hidden Contradictions in the Bible (And Why We Don't Know About Them)," Ehrman writes: "Despite the differences in detail and perspective among the Gospel accounts, the core message of Jesus and his followers remains constant: God's kingdom is at hand, and people need to repent and prepare for its coming." |

Maynman:Herod couldn't have been the first to call Jesus followers Christians. He doesn't live in Antioch. I'm talking about your Wikipedia evidence that talked about Herod aggripa |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 8:51pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Maynman:Definitely not Herod, read the sentence properly. U can ask jaephoenix for help. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by Maynman: 8:51pm On Apr 28, 2023 |

Maynman:In Antioch? That's my question. Did he call Jesus followers Christian in Antioch? |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 9:34pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Maynman:Herod aggripa 2 never lived in Antioch. He lived in Palestine. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by Maynman: 9:35pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
SIRTee15:Yea, Agrippa ll was talking to paul in antioch.
|

| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 10:05pm On Apr 28, 2023*. Modified: 2:32am On Apr 29, 2023 |
Maynman:He never lived in or governed over Antioch. Antioch was outside of his jurisdiction. He lived in caesarea and Jerusalem when he was king. His initially ruled Chalcis which is in modern day Syria. Later he ruled over some areas in Galilee and Palestine including Jerusalem. He had no business with Antioch and wasnt the first person to call Jesus followers Christians in Antioch. U reading your Wikipedia evidence wrong. |

SIRTee15:Where was Agrippa ll talking to paul?
|
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 10:21pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Maynman:U obviously reading the bible upside down. Paul was defending his case in front of Herod Agrippa 2, Festus and Bernice in Caesarea. Read acts 25, I'm not quoting anything. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 10:22pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Maynman:Paul was standing trial in Caesarea not Antioch. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by Maynman: 10:24pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
SIRTee15:It was Agrippa ll that called them christian first in antioch, the funny thing is he called them “Chrestians”.
|
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by Maynman: 10:25pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
SIRTee15:It was Agrippa ll that called them chrestian in antioch.

U guys get caught and u start damage control. U were wrong on John copying mark U were wrong on serapis being called Christians And u wrong that Herod called Jesus followers Christians in Antioch. |
| Re: The Book Of Bible Gaffes by SIRTee15: 11:33pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Maynman:I think English language comprehension is part of your problem. This is the Wikipedia source that you ve been quoting up and down. It is traditionally translated as "a man from Nazareth"; the plural Nazōraioi would mean "men from Nazareth". The title is first applied to the Christians by Tertullus (Acts 24:5), though Herod Agrippa II (Acts 26:28) uses the term "Christians" which had first been used at Antioch (Acts 11:26). It says Herod Agrippa used the term in acts 26.28 but had been used previously by other people in Antioch. |
