These fools just know how to make simple very difficult. I mean, dis we need to complicate this series!!!!
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:16am On Apr 28, 2023
We matchup pretty well against the Sixers but I am worried about our perimeter defense and it is shockingly poor. I don’t want a double against Embiid, we just need to guard the perimeter and rebound the ball.

I felt Giannis’s pain in that post game interview. I loved everything he said and admired how he tried to explain the situation and carried himself. The analogy using the GOAT was good but the GOAT thought differently about seasons when he did not win a ring with the Bulls .

Personally, I still think the season was a failure for the Bucks, only because they lost in the 1st round as the number 1 seed and he had a bad game when it mattered the most and it comes with the territory.

He just needs to pick himself up, hit the gym and improve on his free throws because it cost them that game 7.

Before I forget, Charles Barkley is an American treasure.

Are you sure you guys match up well with the Lakers? Don't get me wrong I would want for you people to win but I feel they might bully you with size and all.
We have homecourt. As erratic as the team has been, the core is still the team that won last season and were top 3 in homecourt wins this season so even if it stretches to 7 I still give GSW a slight advantage.

Stay humble bro

We are not out of the woods yet
LOL. We are beating the Kings at home. Steph bounces back from bad shooting and rotation players generally shoot better. It will be a blow out. Quote me.

He was very eloquent, but that was a failure. They are not an up and coming team learning lessons. They took the top seed from the celtics all season. So a first round exit is failure. No way around it. Now you can learn from failure, but it is still failure.

The pain was clear. It has to be very serious for you to have to invoke the GOAT. But the example is not useful, even though the GOAT had his struggles. By the way according to Jay Williams, failure can only be used in the context of a supposed bad father/parent. Very interesting people these talk heads.

speaking of context, you can look at Shaq's take vs Barkelys take on failure as well. To be honest, both of them appeared right to me, such is life.

Jay Williams annoys me with some of his takes because he tries too hard to protect players and never sees things from other perspectives. The Bucks failed and it is fact, no playing around it. This is professional sports, not some amateur, semi-professional or high school gig.

You own your failures, learn from them and do better. You can not lose in the first round in a game 6 at home as the number 1 seed, irrespective of who the opponent is, have a distasteful performance and tell us the team did not fail. The Wolves, Thunder, Bulls did not fail in my opinion, no one expects them to compete for a championship.

Giannis was yarnin opaks there sha low key. Nobody asked or said his life or career was a failure. So I don't know why he wanted to take it personal.

Nobody asked him to focus on a macro level. But he has to be honest and accept that this season was a failure. That is the approach that will make them get better next time

The season was a spectacular failure and there needs to be something drastic done unless he wants to finish with just 1 ring which would be a shame going by his trajectory.

The Bucks are slowly aging with Middleton 32, Holiday 33, Lopez 35. And that's not even considering their injury sheet.

I will be looking at the obvious weaknesses in that roster (Grayson Allen primary suspect) and finding how to offload them. What did they get Jae Crowder for again? If they were not going to put him on Butler.

Everything eventually starts from Budenholzer. He has to go. If Vogel, Lue and even Nurse could be fired then he has to go too otherwise it won't even matter

Hmmm. I just don't know how you guys handle Bron, Vanderbilt and AD in the paint. I'm already dreading the margin in scoring

It would take Steph and Klay shooting at a historical clip for you people to make it out of that series. Their size advantage seems insurmountable for your Warriors IMO

Their size will be a problem but they are not particularly quick and they will have to guard those moving guards on the warriors end.

They are not a team that travels well and they just happen to be playing a team that was virtually perfect at home -with home advantage.

Their size has not been the major driver of their lead against the Grizzlies - the very same healthier Grizzlies the warriors put to bed last season.

The series is not that forgone conclusion people assumed it was because the Warriors had that 0-2 hole against the Kings.

It could very well go 7 and if it does I'll back the team with home court.

The refs are allowing a lot of calls in this game. Normally that Keegan Murray dunk is an and-1.

They beat us by 50 pts without Ja.

I wish Draymond punched Poole today not earlier in the season.

Eff Steve Kerr.

Eff the Warriors.

I'm out.

Looks like we're favouring that Russle/AD PnR tonight. Let's see how Taylor Jenkins counters that.

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:19am On Apr 29, 2023
Coaches like JB Bickerstaff and T. Jenkins can learn a thing or two from M. Brown and T. Thibodeau when it comes to accountability.

Both coaches sat their best players for long stretches because they were stinking up the joint.
