Remo Stars' BLFA U15s are Champions AGAIN. Back to Back winners of the NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises.

They beat Plateau Utd U15s (AKA Mees Palace FA) 1-0 in the final and the goal was scored by Tournament top scorer, Opeyemi Yusuf, #13 for his record breaking and new record setting 10th goal of the competition beating out Millon Koma's 9 goals record.

Opeyemi Yusuf also scored in all 6 games from the first round/group stage to the final.

Well, that could be the case but there's just something different when you watch them play. They play with so much confidence like they know they're capable of beating whichever team they face no matter the pedigree of players grin.

Joelinton that was almost forgotten is playing like a man on fire. Even the usual Championship-standard Murphy is scoring goals grin.

Their fans have also succeeded in turning their home ground into an intimidating environment.

Whatever they're doing is definitely working.
You said it all bro. It is like their new Arab owner gave them something to drink. Their upward trajectory is similar to that of City. EPL will now become more competitive.

It depends on how we’re rating them. Are we ranking them based on club or country exploits? For example, if we’re rating them based on club exploits, I would pick
1) Osimehn - Top performance at multiple clubs in the big 5 including leading a team to their first league title in over 30 years and playing a pivotal role. In addition to that, he has the highest ever market value for any Nigerian striker EVER.

2) Obafemi martins
3) Yakubu
4) Yekini
5) Ighalo
6) Emenike

Yekini club exploit isn’t highly rated than the aforementioned because he mostly performed at Lower league compared to the others listed…

For Country
1) Yekini - Multiple ANC top scorer Award and present all time Nigeria Top scorer
2) Emenike - Qualified us for the World Cup, and most importantly won the ANC
3) Yakubu - Qualified us for a World Cup and one of our highest goal scorers
4) Obafemi martins - Qualified us for the World Cup
5) Ighalo - Qualified us for a World Cup
6) osimehn- he has to Qualify us for a World Cup, Win an ANC title and perform exceptionally for Nigeria to become Number 1.

When judging a player talent/capability, the most important leverage is QUALITY not QUANTITY. For example, Emenike is listed as number 2 based on SE performances and higher than players has superior goal aggregate because he WON for Us
In 1987 Porto won the European cup, UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental cup. In 1988 and 1990, Benfica made the finals of the European cup. In 1994, Fc Porto made semi final of European cup. In 1990, Rasheed Yekini scored 13 goals in the same Portuguese Liga in his first season before he became the top goal scorer in 1993. The same Portuguese liga has won more UEFA Champions league than the French league that you rated highly and has even made the finals of the same UEFA champions league than the team from the Dutch League.

But according to you, the Portugues liga is a lower league. grin Continue to deceive yourself and crew. grin

Algeria are the rumoured front runner to get the bid.. Algeria hosted the CHAN this year...they will host the u-17 AFCON this month...
North Africa are getting most of the hosting rights for CAF tournaments because they are the most prepared.... Sub Saharan Africa aren't serious at all ...
The 2023 African games has been postponed because our bredas haven't gotten their facilities ready...what an embarrassment
Correct!!!! Make Morocco make special flight request again grin

Bro, I didn’t denigrate him. I just informed you regarding the caliber of league Yekini performed compared to his SE contemporaries. Yekini best foreign exploits were at backwater leagues like Portuguese, Greece league etc and equivalent to the modern day Belgium league. Consequently, do not allude his lack of playing at superior league to non exposure because during that time, the likes of Yeboah, Weah, abedi were performing week in and out at Seria A and Bundesliga. The likes of osimehn, Yakubu, Oba martins had a much higher ranking club career than yekini because they all performed at the Big 3 and one has to always realize that Quality precede Quantity. When it comes to SE performances, Yekini is still Number 1 for now until Osimehn surpass him by winning ANC, Qualifying us for World Cup and score more goals
For your information, Yekini played in the La liga even at 32/33 years old.

Yekini's first season in a European league at 28 years old, he scored 13 goals in the Portuguese liga before he played in the Laliga at 32/33 years old. cheesy

Some of them don't know that at a point Portuguese league was better than English league. English league became renown after much inckme from sponsorship and TV rights. Some don't even know that South American league (Brazil and Argentina is equally very strong.

Ah as per the South American leagues, up till the 2000's they were at par or maybe even stronger than Europe.
In Pele's generation it was perhaps stronger. All the members of the 1970 world cup team (Regarded as one of the greatest and Artistic teams ever) were from the South American League.
Even now the South American leagues are at the level of Holland, Belgium or Portugal.
The only thing is their best players now leave early for Europe so it weakened them a little but they
are still relatively good.
Just check out the quality of players that league is still producing. I mean Thiago Silva, Vinicios Jnr, Neymar, louis suarez etc

Not if he decides to muscle up like Giannis did ..or he could just be another KD.... .
Whichever way it turns out, dude is madly talented... I think he belongs to the class of players like Magic, Iverson and Rodman who defied he odds to play in a role and with the flair that weren't expected of people of their height and build..

With due respect to Papilo which pivotal role did he play in Arsenal's league wins in 2001/2002 & 2003/2004? Cos from the records for the former he only scored 3 goals in 23 matches and 1 goal in10 for the former.

Plus Victor Ikpeba won the Ligue 1 title with Monaco in 1996/1997.
