Someone just said my mind. Stop comparing osimhen with yekini & co cos of the calibre & mentality of players as at that time. Osimhen has proved to us by been top scorer in the last qualifier & still replicating same in this qualifier. Nigeria need a good coach to bring a hero mentality. Same thing happening to Chelsea FC. Now we should know quality coach determines the fate of ur team too

It depends on how we’re rating them. Are we ranking them based on club or country exploits? For example, if we’re rating them based on club exploits, I would pick
1) Osimehn - Top performance at multiple clubs in the big 5 including leading a team to their first league title in over 30 years and playing a pivotal role. In addition to that, he has the highest ever market value for any Nigerian striker EVER.

2) Obafemi martins
3) Yakubu
4) Yekini
5) Ighalo
6) Emenike

Yekini club exploit isn’t highly rated than the aforementioned because he mostly performed at Lower league compared to the others listed…

For Country
1) Yekini - Multiple ANC top scorer Award and present all time Nigeria Top scorer
2) Emenike - Qualified us for the World Cup, and most importantly won the ANC
3) Yakubu - Qualified us for a World Cup and one of our highest goal scorers
4) Obafemi martins - Qualified us for the World Cup
5) Ighalo - Qualified us for a World Cup
6) osimehn- he has to Qualify us for a World Cup, Win an ANC title and perform exceptionally for Nigeria to become Number 1.

When judging a player talent/capability, the most important leverage is QUALITY not QUANTITY. For example, Emenike is listed as number 2 based on SE performances and higher than players has superior goal aggregate because he WON for Us

You have DENIGRATED Rashidi Yekini with your youthful exuberance and lack of knowledge.

Yekini was the second Nigerian to win a golden boot in a top European League.

Yekini scored 21 goals for Vittoria Setubal in the Portuguese League in 1993.

Besides, Yekini seems one of the few African Strikers to have scored 500 GOALS IN HIS CAREER.
that is some achievement.
I once pointed it out to Supernerd.
It was based on my research

Ivory Coast might be stripped of their AFCON hosting right... According to reports, they are lagging behind in the preparation..

This is one of the many reasons why CAF needs to consider shifting the AFCON to a 4 years tournament

Bro, I didn’t denigrate him. I just informed you regarding the caliber of league Yekini performed compared to his SE contemporaries. Yekini best foreign exploits were at backwater leagues like Portuguese, Greece league etc and equivalent to the modern day Belgium league. Consequently, do not allude his lack of playing at superior league to non exposure because during that time, the likes of Yeboah, Weah, abedi were performing week in and out at Seria A and Bundesliga. The likes of osimehn, Yakubu, Oba martins had a much higher ranking club career than yekini because they all performed at the Big 3 and one has to always realize that Quality precede Quantity. When it comes to SE performances, Yekini is still Number 1 for now until Osimehn surpass him by winning ANC, Qualifying us for World Cup and score more goals

In What League tho? I’m not denigrating his club performance but when it comes to club football, osimehn, Martins, Yakubu, Kanu had a better club career. When it comes to country football, yekini is Number 1 so far. When it comes to football ranking, Quality always Precede Quantity. There’s a reason why Zidane is highly deemed one of the GOATs despite having a below Average over Statistics. Zidane knew how to perform and score at Big games I.e World Cup final, Champions League Final

How did you arrive at that conclusion 🤔 please ❓

If I were to call Belgium league a poor quality back water league, I would get dogs abuse.

Can't imagine what a Chukweze/Oshimen will do in that league.

It's crazy how Newcastle haven't even spent as much as most thought they would but here they are sitting 3rd on the EPL table.

Is it that the players were afraid of better players coming in to displace them and then decided to improve?

Is it that lots of money have been spent on better training equipment and facilities?

Is it the effect of that new confidence/high that comes with becoming rich?

Or could it be that Eddie Howe is just a coach who's beginning to show his true worth?

Whatever the case may be, I'm really happy for them. I never expected them to experience success so quickly.
You just asked the right questions bro. I still don't know the reason behind their resurgence. Probably due to the fact that some of the top 4 regulars are having a bad season.

Chukweze-

Liverpool and Athletico in for Chukweze.
Both Real Madrid and Athletico have started negotiation with Villareal.
Westham ready to pay 45m if it survive relegation.
Aston Villa keen too but Chukweze is not interested in working with Emre due to how he treated him at Villareal.

Liverpool tweeter account said Villareal wants 71m. Liverpool fans are not having it.
Meanwhile Chukweze missed training due to the injury suffered from the two footed challenge on him by an Espanyol player and might not be ready against Celta.

Chukweze won't be a Villareal player next season!

Oshimen
Chelsea want a Ziyech + some cash for an Oshimen switch, while Bayern, a Mane with some cash for him.

Oshimen prefers Bayern cos of his German girlfriend not how dt would affects his career. Bro is gone!

Victor Boniface

After watching Boniface several times, Leipzig concludes, he is not what they want. AC Milan was keen as at last month but currently looking at other options. Boniface low scoring output in the Belgian league might be his achilles heels. No team has inquire yet.

Gift Orban-

Fulham and B leverkusen have made inquiry. Benfica will inquire if offer is received for Ramos!

Well, that could be the case but there's just something different when you watch them play. They play with so much confidence like they know they're capable of beating whichever team they face no matter the pedigree of players grin.

Joelinton that was almost forgotten is playing like a man on fire. Even the usual Championship-standard Murphy is scoring goals grin.

Their fans have also succeeded in turning their home ground into an intimidating environment.

Whatever they're doing is definitely working.
