Really interested in where Ogbabido and Favour will play coz both are forwards (as listed) and I know Ugbade prefers a 3 man attack and 3 man midfield.

The formation layout and early mins of the game will tell.

Although at the Wafu B, Ogbabido was listed as a MF.

NwaIdeato:
Osimhen isn't just an elite player I'm sorry...he's at best a decent striker, but several miles away from being classified as world class. He failed to deliver against Ghana in the world cup qualifiers, got marked out by Guinea Bissau, and somehow couldn't do it against Salertina when the weight of expectations were on him by Napoli (as a world class player) to seal the scudetto today, yet he failed.

Napoli mathematically will win the scudetto, but Osimhen isn't just THAT GUY
abeg go siddon. Weight of expectations when they are almost confirmed champions with 6 games to go.

Emmanuel Michael already showing his left foot magic. What a long ranger that was.

Okay, it's obviously a 3 man attack of #20 Favour Daniel (LW), Precious Williams #9 through the middle and Abubakar Abdullahi, #8 on the Right.

Ogbabido, Owoyemi and Linus Hope in Midfield. Owoyemi and Linus are the deepest playing midfielders.

Abubakar Abdullahi scores but is miles offside. He didn't pay attention to the line. Nice play by Nigeria and her captain, Precious Williams.

Abubakar Abdullahi goes close again!!! A fine cross from the left via Michael. A header was saved and the rebound attempt was weak.

Jeremiah Olaleke's Partner, #5 Tochukwu Ogboji is so cool yet strong on the ball. So composed and he is left footed. We have a young LCB at this level. Interesting.

There's a particular player in the Nigerian midfield (haven't identified him yet) with good visionary passes. He has thrown like 3 defence-splitting passes so far.

Tale of the First Half:

Nigeria putting together beautiful attacking sequences.

Zambia defending with their lives, only occasionally moving forward in counters.

Richard Odoh on holidays.

Precious Williams probably should have gone for power there. Tried to roll it pass the GK but it was saved and then hit the crossbar before going out for a corner.

Maybe, that's the kind of players I really want to see. Another Mikel, Haruna Lukman kind of players.

Our Right-Back(Lawali I think) understands the concept of pass and move. Simple but very effective. The only question is if he has the pace and stamina to track back when the opponents counter.

Meanwhile, Zambia just hit the cross bar.
