My good people, kindly advise on what and how to go about this;

My Uncle wants to take my daughter along with his family to UK as his dependents and we didn't bear thasame surname. Please, how possible is this?. As he has been in UK already but his family is still in nigeria.

Thanks in anticipation

What’s the reason for this? Are you her parents not alive? What will the storyline be? I don’t think this is possible. The relationship is too far. If he’s your uncle (the sibling of your parent), then it means it’s her great uncle. That’s if you’re even blood relatives. People are finding it hard to file for biological children; so this is a mighty stretch.

Also, for what purpose does your uncle “want” to take your daughter? When you didn’t even ask him. Parents, please be very wary of such “favours”. Most of these people are looking for housemaids who’ll manage chores while their own kids enjoy. It’s modern day slavery!!! Some of them abuse these kids sexually and physically. They’ll say they’re helping you to “train them”. Meanwhile, education is free in the UK. Please keep your daughter.

The best advise i have ever seen on nairaland. i.e if it is not a case of Modern Day Slavery. If the intentions are genuine, you are good to go.However, i advise you go with them, do not leave your daughter for anyone[ quote author=AmeliaT post=122851795]What’s the reason for this? alot of people are taking advantage of the gullibility of people to japa. Sadly it will only keep increasing as everyone is giving deaf ears and doing as they please all in the name of I need to leave Nigeria. Even people going as far as paying 10 million to agent that they will give you COS. It is well

Good morning all. Please I need help with filling my application, I do not want to make any mistakes please.
My brother already sent an invitation and I am about putting all documents together.

I will also like to clarify, I have my salary account where funds are being received from my company. However I have most of my savings in another savings account (mmf) how do I handle this. Do I present both statements cos more funds are in the other account and not the salary account.

Thanks

I know someone who charges at the rate of ₦13m for COS only...... All other documents like IELTS, TB CERT, VISA FEES AND POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE would be sort by the applicant....

Hi everyone,
I need your advice. I renewed my international passport in London, and the collection date on the slip is April 28, 2023, but I have not received the passport. I need to travel next month for an important event outside the UK for which I have paid the full money, and I need a passport to travel. I have less than two weeks to submit my visa application for the event.

Please, is there anything I can do to get the passport as soon as possible?

Thank you.

In the savings account you have sufficient funds, I hope you can explain with evidence how you were able to grow the money in the account.

It depends on the number of applicants in that center. So many external factors out of your control.
Also, how quickly it will take the VISA officers to verify your documents esp. your SOA.
Students normally apply for their VISA 3 months before resumption, so applying in JULY, AUGUST, SEPT. expect a higher influx of applicants at the center.

PS: Just my 1 cent

Shalom!

Evidence, I will print the statement then. It’s same funds I moved from my personal account.

Hello house, Good evening.
My company in the UK is sponsoring my visit to the UK for business, although I have some relatives and friends in the UK. I was advised on this forum not to mention that I have family in the UK and to keep the application strictly for business. My question now is when I get to the UK, I most likely won't be staying in a hotel but at my relatives' houses. With this info, how do I approach the 'Where do you plan on staying in the UK' question? Can I just state I will be staying in a hotel or private housing without no evidence of booking?

Hello house please my parents and little sister (14 years) will be coming for my graduation in July. We are hoping to apply this week but I have a few questions.

1) if they are saying they will be paying for all their expenses from their account would I still need to show my own statement of account?
2) my elder sis and I want to make a transfer of 1.5m to my dads account this week to assist with the travelling expenses. Would this be a red flag cause of the lump sum?
3) they want to apply stating that they will be staying for 1 week (to reduce the amount of POF needed) but after getting the visa can they extend their stay to two weeks?
4) my mum and my dad plan to stay in an hotel because my apartment is a one bed and I’m married. so my little sis can’t stay in the same hotel room with them. Can I say she would be staying with me in my apartment?
5) lastly I booked their hotel as “book now pay on arrival” and this shows on the booking confirmation. Hope it won’t be a red flag too?

I know it’s a lot of questions but I’ll appreciate any advice I can get please

3. I believe it shouldn't be an issue based on my own experience. My mother inlaw came, some plans changed, and we needed to extend her stay. This didn't affect future application.

4. Write a letter of invitation to say your parents will be staying in hotel but your younger sis will stay with you. Include it in your younger sis application as well. Make sure you attach your proof of accommodation too. When I was living in a studio flat, I did this with my mother in law's application and she was granted. I submitted the tenancy agreement.

Please note these are my own personal experiences..thanks

U book a pay on arrival hotel via booking.com or hotel.com , Every visitor should have an address in the UK where they are coming to
U can mention direct siblings or parents if u have, anything extended leave it out. Then if they ask if u will be staying with them, just say no if you want to keep the application spot on business

My younger brother's decision has been made for over a week now, passport not returned yet, even the tracker is still on application received by DMC. I'm trying to reapply for him as soon as possible but can't do it without the passport. My graduation is in June. Is there anyway to go about this.
#Update#
I sent a paid email and it has now been sent via the courier this evening

Thanks

Please where can I find Healthcare assistant/ caregiver / support worker job with overseas sponsorship?

I have a Germany tourist visa slot but want to go through work visa, this is why I have been trying to seek for a job in the UK which would sponsor my visa.

I need a CoS please

Kindly tell me the sites to visit

You can still go and read some German newspapers, visit Berlin wall, and still apply for jobs whilst on a tourist trip. Both can be done so take the slot... But you must return to you pt and place of departure after you finish reading the bild, and de-speigel, sprehchen newspapers oooooo.........

After all president elect recently returned from France after the election which he went on for medical tourism, you too deserve newspapers tourism post election and inauguration things jhor....... All na tourism
