pope191: Na people like you dem dey even run street right under your nose and you won't know To the issue at hand, Let's say you're an agent. I want to buy a car and contact you, the owner of the car told you the price is 650k last but because you know people will always like to bargain, you tell me it's 800k. I come to you and price the car to 750k and you tell me to bring money. I pay you 750k and pick up the car. What will you do with the remaining 100k? Will you give it to the car owner that you sold it at 750k or you'll give it to the buyer? PS: I'm not saying this is what happened here. I'm just asking you a hypothetical question. 1 Like |

Pearl1910: Exaxtly. And the truth is, even if you take 10 of gazz.uzz to inspect a car, there are issues you will never notice till you start using the car. For a car the owner was willing to sell at 650k and seeing how every other person who has bought the car has had issues with it, I would not be surprised that both mechanics did not know the full extent of repairs needed. If trained mechanics could not detect it, difficult to pass the blame to Felicity. 1 Like |

Itsrm: But he is claiming the car he sold was good, nobody is above mistake. If a seller is willing to sell for that amount something is definitely wrong and since the car goes for N1m for naija use, all I thought was maybe he just want to sell for 800k since that is the amount I was aware of but for the fact that Felix knew the price the owner wanted to sell which was 650k was too good to be true he could have used his brain that is if he had one but what did he do instead He added 150k to it 3 Likes |

Please I need help on getting a fast driver license here in Lagos. I’m staying at Ajah, I just moved to Lagos and I want to use my car for the hustle going forward. Please anyone know how I can go about it, I need it done fast, and also how’s the business plying only the island? Can I still earn a part time living doing this just within the island and I will appreciate any hint whatsoever I can get here. Thanks for incoming contributions and assistance, And about the license, I’m ready for next week Monday |

Also, how good can it profit me using a v6 car. I have a 2010 toyota camry, v6 muscle. I’m just asking to explore my options and have an idea what’s ahead. |

FASASI1: Bros you picked the wrong mech, no doubt about that. Sound engine does not translate to general condition of a car. A sound Benx for 800k tells red flag all around it. So your mech saying it is too expensive tells he doesn't even know what he is doing, unless he have evaluate all the problems that need to be fix and match it with the value of getting a standard one. 3 Likes |

Itsrm: Nobody is above street running, I only tell you your format go strong. Right under my nose, pray I no catch you... I am not the type that even talk, my silence is enough to make you start sweating. They are differect level of buying something, maybe it us not just trying to be honest with each other. When you hear agent tell landlord to jerk house rent, it is for the good of their own commission. I will not buy anything and pay the agent, I'll rather let go. The only condition that will allow me to pay agent is if they owner of the said valuables ask me to do so and it is on record. Some will tell you to pay them their own and go sought out with the agent. Some will ask for everything and both will sought each other. Whatever happens between agent and owner is not my business, but all I know is I am paying based on owners discretion. If it is car? we are both doing affividat on his name and photo then onward to police report. If I am too stressing him, my money is honestly not meant for you. Find puppies you can control. If agent like business so bad, let him or her buy the car out rightly and inflate the price to whatever pleases him or her. 4 Likes |

TippuTip: I honestly like the way we are spitting it out... I'll employ newbies to take note of this, no one should in the right sense come out to help you. There's no such things as help, what will have is business. Dog eat dog world, don't contact anyone with the mindset of help or trust. If you loose guard, o ti lo We are all open for business. NB : for lack of understanding on my part. When we use words like "Car dealer".... are we talking about a registered car dealer with CAC or self imposed. I ask incase it goes the way of litigation. 1 Like |

FASASI1: I understand. The first car I bought was a disaster as well and now I know better. It's a phase a lot of first time car owners pass through. Infact if I was the one buying that car, I would have budgeted 600k for repairs. Just take the lessons from this and apply subsequently. 2 Likes |

Pearl1910: I am not judging Felicity or will I jugde Fasasi too. We are only counter attacking views. If both Felicity and Fasasi's mech does not know the condition of the car? Then we can as well exempt the mechanic that initiate the call to Felicity about not knowing the problem of the car and as well the owner for selling a benz for 650. I think all the blame should just be heap on fasasi for trying to by a Benz of 650 while expecting heavenly ride. On the flip he may have been misled to think that could take him far. But by who? I don't know Let me be blunt with you here boss. I have 2 mech Bishop and Uzor. I once say all cars have it value regardless of how bad it is. They know what they will call me for and what they will take far from me. The only place I won't fault the owner is, for him to reduce a car to 650k plenty plenty werey deh the car body. 1 Like |

Itsrm: Everybody is an agent. Abi agents get their own personal buyers for their phone? When you put your product online, and your price is a great bargain, you'll get calls. Or is that not what agents do here on NL? As long as me and am no get agreement, i will not lose my gain for some agent that has nothing to lose. So make i pursue customer and lose 2M because of person 400k? Never! 3 Likes |

izzou: Cars are not necessarily like that because there's a limit to how much you can shave off the price to create a bargain. Selling a car is more than just putting an ad online. There's even a popular saying that "na mouth dem take dey sell motor". If you don't have it, you don't have it. Even if you have it, the more the people who also have it and are bringing deals for you, the better and faster your sales will be. You can't start discouraging people who bring deals for you because they inflated the price especially when you've made your own profit. 2 Likes |

Gentlelife50: I'm not attacking you brother, it's a general statement......We have a warped mindset or reasoning in this part of the world. Why would one ever think of running the red light, and not just running it but running it "anyhow"! It is lawless and very dangerous. If your reason of not working on the mainland is because you won't be able to run the red light, then it's .not a good reason. Don't see this as an attack. 5 Likes |

Itsrm: An agent has no risk in any deal Na me get car; and i might be losing if the price is wrong A buyer has his money; and he may be losing if the car has issues So what exactly is an agent risking? When you want to sell your car, put it here and on Jiji. Make sure your price is favourable and you'll see the calls you will get. That was why i told you that an agreement must be made. If i don't have any agreement with you, i will not lose a customer because your profit is not guaranteed. Na my own be that 3 Likes |

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Felicity001(m): 10:07am On May 05, 2023 |
Pearl1910: Reason for the fight was simply because the guys thought I tried by cutting them by calling the owner unknowing to them I only tried to verify the car owner. Again since Faruq already disclosed the amount to him N800 they now believe I also tried to stop their own settlement from the dealer/owner. Infact the whole bubble got bursted on everybody's face. The dealer was actually gonna also settle them even at N650k... 50k I supposed They sold to me @750 so their money was 100k. Now, dealer was to go home with 100k while owner was to go home with 500k... The owner was already fed up with the car he just wanted to sell it off even at a lost. It was when they all (the mechanic guys) where summoned by my elder bros because they're our family mechanics that was when every details was spelled out. It was a complicated issue and fasasi1 was the main actor in all of these because he has trust issues, at every point he had no believe it confidence even after his uncle mechanic had advised him to buy the car that very day they first came but he was so indecisive... He kept saying I need to get aunt approval Sister's approval Mum's approval and all of that... I was fedup... Oga abeg take your money... Go! Despite knowing the whole truth I still kept to the agreement me and them had and I still transferred their money to them all including the dealer and even the community guys also got 30k... So what was left? Nothing. I actually beat the amount down from 1m.to 650k with 100k for them because they're 3 of them. Now, will I be explaining all of these complication or business agreement to a client? No! If that's how you all do your business it's fine but I don't do my own business that way.im.sorry. Agreement is a sacred and you have to keep it! Even after the whole thing I still chatted fasasi1 afterwards and apologized to him because he told me how disappointed he was about the whole thing and we traced everything out, I explained everything reasons of my actions to him. I know he will deny it... Post a screenshot he has refused to but he was fast to post where he told me how Tojah tried to sell a bad car to him but now he doesn't have the remaining of our chat history anymore, right? And the surprising thing is non of you can see all of that. That's insane! I called you, I chatted you and tender my apology after explaining to you everything yet you still bear grudges in mind after 1 year? After you've sold the car and have even gotten back your money? After you have failed to pay me the balance of my money?? After you caused issues btw me and mechanic guys? After you embarrassed me in my neighborhood You'll suffer I promise you. 1 Like 1 Share |

I knew if given a long rope he will eventually hang himself Now, dealer was to go home with 100k while owner was to go home with 500k... The owner was already fed up with the car he just wanted to sell it off even at a lost As I said earlier, lemons knowingly being sold as lambos’ to unsuspecting first time car owners At least all sane people here now know one person to avoid while trying to seek help in purchasing a vehicle. 3 Likes |

Conner44: Hmm. This is a blanket indictment. No go start another world war Mr. Corner corner. He sold a bad car today doesn't mean he can't sell a good car tomorrow. All cars are different, each has its own peculiar issues. He also has that freedom to top or add to the original price, that's the hustle. The onus is on the buyer to do proper evaluation and bargaining before payment. No one has to be blamed if you fail with your due diligence. Mr. Feli hasn't done any wrong on this matter. TippuTip: I think I want to agree with you on your perception but who do you blame? Our parents for poor rich/poor? The society? The country The government? Or God Who do you blame? As a man and as a Nigerian... We are so subjected to so many hardship. Survival instinct... We have to feed We have to pay bills We have to look after age parents, siblings, wife and kids for those who have. The society/country have gone so bad that eve. A 100k can't sustain a family of 4 for one month even if they life in a 2 room apartment. After all my good will to people both in this trend and elsewhere, in the end they promised and not filful, some tell you thank and gid bless you... some after you even help them with advise, tactics on how to raise money, still source for cars for them to buy, give them contacts to go for inspection while you're busy doing your Uber rat and cat race they buy but never come to appreciate you for your little effort, look at obinaral he's one of them... I'm calling him out simply because he knew he's guilty yet he took the first stone by calling his fada a scammer... But he forgot so soon how I nurtured him, gave him advice and encourage him. some are fantastic guys trust me... Guys like Readadream, the likes of OfficialDJ, Blacknishop, Pearl, Tojah, Izzou, many of them I can't even remember their monikers... Readadream only meet me once and he sent a million + without being there to buy the car he's currently using, his car was even in bad shape than the one bought for this ungrateful fasasi1 because it was part of my first experience so I knew little then... OfficialDJ, i will walk pass that guy on the street because till this very moment I still haven't meet him... I still went to ladipo last month for a complet engine and gear for one of his CLS500... Google that car no be small pikin dey drive that kind car. There is a guy here up till now I do not know his moniker but we talk on WhatsApp till date... In fact no need na long story. I made it clear here even b4 that 1diot fasasi1 contacted me out of the blues that my services are no more free. And that was the first thing I told him. 50k or nothing. Inspect with your mechanic and if the price is okay with you pay and go face what ever come after simple! Be a man and face your trouble instead of cryinyover a spilled milk 3 Likes 1 Share |

Felicity001: 😂 You told the guy bought the car 750k and the guy came to ask me and I told him I bought it for 800k that was why the guy wanted to beat you bro. You remembered, you came to meet me that why will I tell the guy the actual money and you said I shouldn't have told him the price that what I was suppose to do was to tell him to come and meet you. Why are you still lying ?? Nobody will beat you on the forum. I told you I thought you guys ironed everything together and you said I don't have business with him and I should have told him to come and meet you. Gentlelife50: He left me with no other choice when he took the car to my own mechanic without my Knowing... Don't you guys get it!?? He also left me with no choice when he told me he never had any intention to balance me my money which even after I'd apologized to him and have explained everything to him. Those guys are my mechanic I know how to deal with the and I know what to ask them to do and what to do. I also have other guys in ladipo, and I also have a special rescue guy in agege... I know who to call when there is a problem. I know which part seller tk communicate with and I know who to call for a scan job. He seems to know too much so I had to let him be since he told me I reaped him off. Okay cool no vex I'm don't want to continue reaping you off so go sort yourself. Any thing bad there again? Now he's coming with the story of I'm collecting money from same mechanic I usually pay each time I go for ordinary oil change... Mechanic wey I dey dash money, buy food for. How much him pay mechanic that a poor mechanic will have to also send me money... Funny Abeg let's forget about this matter jare... It has no substance. What I see here is a disgruntled greedy, selfish, wicked and jealous man who doesn't like to see anyone succeed. He's just a sadist. 1 Like 1 Share |
