Honestly, cause we have been creating chances.

It's so annoying.

Spot the bolded below.

I literally picked him out. Glad he is repaying the confidence.

TheSuperNerd:
Somehow I think the coaches are keeping faith with him because his talent/quality overtime were never in doubt. He was among our best players at the WafuB and topscored among all the forwards. Consistent in the friendlies and prep games as well.

Personally, I would have him start from the bench today to give him a rash wakeup call but well, it is Ugbade's call. Perhaps the lad will show more calm and composure upfront today.

Charles Agada, #11 is another potential fine finisher who can strike the ball with power. I hope he also brings his A-game today. Light Eke is already known by most in here. Exciting lad who can make things happen in attack. I hope he scores today.

In all, let's hope the boys show finishing improvement in the final third coz it is clear they know how to transit plays from back to front. But all those beautiful transition plays without finishing up chances is worthless. Hopefully, that changes today.

This south African kids defence is leaky just like against Zambia. Our boys just need to try and stop conceding easy goals and we will win.

Even if their d defense is leaky. The golden eaglets will not score with the players especially Linus keeps shooting the ball from midfield and outside the box. He is wasting opportunities and the possession.

All they have to do is make short passes to each other, pass sideways to players in space. They are always making long balls and long passes and they keep losing possession.

Golden eaglets have finally equalized. But their game play and build up play is very bad.

We should win from here on if we convert chances. Our defence is definitely better than the leaky mzansi own.

A draw will see us finish second. So we need at least a draw.

After the game against Morocco I thought ugbade would correct this. We can't expect to beat the Malis and Senegals of this competition with such chance wastage. In those kind of games you might not even see more than three clear cut opportunities. I hope we win so we can go back to the drawing board for the next round. The talent is here but the boys are too excited then rush things.

Golden eaglets defense is terrible. The strikers and midfielders are not helping the defenders and are not dropping back quick enough.

How Linus continues to strikes from 35 yards and doesn't get reprimanded from the sidelines is puzzling

You're right, they are rushing in a very amateur manner.. they probably haven't trained on quick passing.
The long balls are good for defensive clearance but bad for keeping possession.

This is a good team, if the boys can work on their finishing I see a very solid team that will go far in the world cup. There are quite some exciting prospects that will surely transition to the senior NT.

Amuneke and Ugade Achilles heels "Defence."
Defence wins international football, I will continue to say this!

I warned about this Siyabonga Mabena lad. Look how he made a mess of our defence. He has been knocking from that right wing all game, getting past Lawali times and again with ease.

SA 2-1 Nigeria with the last kick of the first half.

Some might argue that the referee should have blown the whistle after the Nigerian last wave of attack was cleared but well, it is what it is.

But you were the one saying that Ugbade has given us a strong defence.

Don't rope Amunike into this. He won the World Cup with his defence.
