Our boys need to be calm, they are tensed
We can beat SA but we are not composed in front of goal
Crosses are also a difficult thing for the boys

Shitty defence

But what is wrong with the Linus guy.. Must he fire shot from long range? He keeps wasting opportunities with his long range shots. They should keep it simple and play short passes

Very wasteful team. I have never seen our U17 this wasteful. Tufiakwa

What are you throwing Amunike's name in there very pathetic talk. Amunike's side won the U17 World Cup and you can't do that with a weak defence.

We conceded that goal at the end based on an amateurish decision. Why pumping defenders forward when you are expecting a whistle. That gap killed that defensive structure.

That Dokunmu guy is very cerebral. I just his guile with the ball.
I have had a deep look at our team. Abdulahi is good with positioning but too wasteful. Light eke looks promising. But others are just power, power. Be like dem leave their brains somewhere.

Agbada has been the standout player of the team today but he needs to know his final balls can make all the difference.

He needs to take a bit more time to release the ball.

Light Eke needs to operate a bit deeper. Going forward will hinder his quality. He needs room to make his team feel the impact of his quality.

The midfielders are very lazy and slow. They don’t move into channels when their team mates have the ball and they keep jogging back when they lose the ball. Stretching the attack and defense

That was a funny goal to concede at he end. This Linus guy sef...his mistimed leap was atrocious.
Light Eke the brightest so far unfortunately the ABF football doesn't suit him.
This team is good but they're not calm. Dem no dey watch ball ni?
Keep it simple and do the basic..o pari

I literally said this during the first round of games.

Siyabonga Mabena of Mamelodi Sundowns. Top scorer across all the Zonal Qualifiers with 9 goals. Mark him name down. Baller🔥🔥

TheSuperNerd:
South Africa's main threat lie in that #20, Mabena. Aside him, they are just another team the Golden Eaglets can handle. They keep the ball decently enough but very little bite in the final third.

Morocco look a bit more disciplined than SA but they don't offer too much offensive threat to be honest. They dont create that many chances. They were also outplayed/out passed in possession by SA. One should still watch them though coz if given an opportunity, they could punish you.

Striker no good!?

The sa guy turn our player. Ugbade for tell the boys to cool down. I think we might let in the 3rd goal if the coach doesn't organize the defense well.

The striker is not that composed.

We need to score through set pieces.

Most of Light Eke's shots have been on target. Weak but on target. Much more preferable to Abdullahi's constant misses undecided undecided

We will expect the South Africans to stay deeper this second half because we have shown we have a better offensive set up.

We need to use this to our advantage.

We need to work with the hole in from of the defensive blocks, get the ball to wide areas, and win corners.

We already scored with a corner and can do it again.

Ugbade is feeling too confident as well, this is a competition. Winning is the most important thing. He needs to tell this boys. Those passes they are throwing away, will keep putting them in difficult positions, it’s no place for show boating . They are also need to hit their shots harder. Remind them , they are not playing stones, it’s football for fu*k sake.

Abdullahi shone all the way from the WafuB Qualifiers to the Prep games only to come drop stinkers at the Afcon. It is really befuddling. He has been absent at this Afcon in the final third. Totally Zero. Needs to get his acts together and fast!!

And scoring through set pieces will only happen if we can win them naa. If we are smart enough, we can draw fouls around the box to allow Michael have multiple cracks at goal.

This team, I hope we can get something out of this team.

Hope Linus is definitely a star in the making, Mikel kind of player, aside him am not yet convinced of any other player in this team.

I would have mentioned Lawali, but that guy looks overage to me.
