Why can't you guys just keep silent and let people that have the answers to the OP's question answer him?

This is what you can never find on other forums abroad.

Good thread.
In some other forums abroad like quora etc, you will only see people that the topic of discussion concerns making comments on the topic, commenting and giving their views and opinions,
But for our darling nation, na people wey no know anything about the topic of discussion go dey comment upanda, disturbing the cyberspace with irrelevant rubbish that the 'main' people won't have any space to make their reasonable contributions....

People keep silent and learn from Nigerians abroad...but for our ogbonge nairaland.com, you people can't resist commenting rubbish.
Na wa for una o.

We Rise.

It's such a shame.....

Wait till they tell you that Tinubu is the cause.
Dead brains people.

Well you've said it all. It's not all roses abroad and the struggle is real. If you're head no dey don't try it. I was lucky to travel to UK for studies and and work back in '09. Since graduation work has been rough. I'm enjoying Nigeria more as per home is always home also I've been fortunate to get better opportunities and peace of mind to an extent in Naija. E no easy.

Second time via permanent residency to Canada with information gotten on nairaland.
Cost of processing was around 1m over 1 year because i wrote ielts multiple times looking for high scores. Flight cost was 1.05m because it was during pandemic and airspace was locked.. We chartered airpeace to togo, from togo we entered ethiopian air for about 970k. Flight was funded by exchange gains. I converted my savings to dollars a year before and resold it 😋

Nice. But for the bolded, I couldn't relate anymore. I'll appreciate if you can drop more hint.

I'm working on travelling with my wife next year via working visa. Europe to be specific. I don't really fancy UK. My younger sister who got married to my friend are in the UK. My younger brother is in the USA.

I'm considering a small country in Europe who's a member of the EU via working visa.

I've done some research, I don't know if you can share some advice too.

While on my student visa, I got married. On completion of my studies, my spouse switched to a student visa. I got a job with NHS, worked for some time, decided to relocate to Canada though I had my tier 2 visa already in the UK.

As per your question, EU is good but not all EU. I will consider an English speaking country first before thinking about any other EU, if that option is out, then, consider Sweden, Belgium, Germany, France before others. I don't know much about EU but I think the countries mentioned above have better economic advantage.

From my humble experience. What you need most is information. This will guide you in making best decisions. Ask questions from people that have already travelled. Look up info on the web and also weigh your options. Don't let anyone scare you about the amount you need. Take the small
and important steps ( like having a passport, getting your transcript and certificates , online training, learning how to drive, learning a soft skill, intentional saving wise spending). If you have a family abroad better for you. But make sure you are responsible when you live with them. Do the small and important things like small home chores, assisting with bills. If you plan staying with a friend also do the later and respect your guest and make sure you don't over stay your welcome.

Whether it's via scholarship, sponsorship, marriage, dependant visa, work visa, student visa

Kindly tell us how you were able to make the money you used to travel abroad. The job or business you did that helped you raise the money for your relocation.

Pls be sincere, as someone out there might be of benefit to the thread.

PS: Pls kindly stay off if you don't have something meaningful to contribute other than discouraging those that wants to relocate.

Got a full-ride fellowship to do a Ph.D. in the US. Got an industry job a few months before defending my thesis... and the rest is history.

Was 90% through my NYSC when the opportunity came. The cost was minimal - only needed ~N200,000 for a flight ticket + $1000 pocket money. I was paid a monthly stipend that took care of living expenses.

How Were You Able To Travel Abroad?
A [url=https://captaindunes.com/]trip in The United Arab Emirates[ /url] can be an exciting experience, particularly in the event that you decide to visit Dubai's famous aquarium. Its walls contain the most varied and breathtaking aquatic life anywhere in the world. Find out what's in store for you while you travel to this extraordinary and breathtaking place.
Here are some helpful tips and techniques to make it easier for you to travel to another country without breaking the bank.
The cost of traveling abroad can be high However, with a bit of analysis and preparation, you could be cost-effective. Begin by establishing an amount of money and researching destinations within your budget. Check out discounts on hotels and flights Consider travelling during the off-peak season. Also, you can save by dining in local eateries and taking public transport rather than taxis. Make sure you look up any vaccinations or visas prior your travels. With a little planning you can turn your dream of going overseas become a reality.

Make sure you plan ahead and research your travel destination.
Making a plan and preparing your destination is essential when traveling to another country. This involves making a budget, researching cheap destinations, and searching for bargains on accommodation and flights. It is also essential to find the required vaccinations and visas prior to your travels. If you do your homework and making plans ahead, you will be sure of a safe and enjoyable vacation without breaking the bank.
Find cheap flights and hotels.
One of the most expensive expenses for travelers is the price of accommodations and flights. For savings, try seeking out deals on accommodations and flights through websites such as Expedia, Kayak, or Airbnb. Try booking your travel plans during non-peak time or by choosing lesser-known destinations to save cash. Also, think about staying in hostels or low-cost hotels instead of expensive ones to save more money.

Explore alternative ways of transport.
Although flights are the most popular method of transport when traveling internationally, they may also be expensive. Think about alternative transportation options like trains, buses or even car rental. These alternatives may not only cost less however, they could offer a unique and memorable experience. Also, think about taking a bike or walk to see your area, which could reduce the cost of transportation in addition to providing fitness and the opportunity to experience the sights up close.

Make use of travel rewards as well as credits from your credit card.
One method to make travel internationally less expensive is to use credit card and travel reward points. Numerous credit cards have reward programs that let you earn miles or points for every dollar spent. These points can later be used to pay for travel expenses like hotels, flights and rental vehicles. Certain credit cards provide sign-up bonuses that could amount to hundreds worth of travel rewards. Make sure you research the various credit card options and select one that has rewards that are in line with your travel objectives.

Why are you so much bittered and daft like this, even your Lord Obi was a sitting Governor when Andy Uba took him to court. Why must this be different? You need to think like a reasonable human being, all this your hates will not stop the inauguration of Tinubu as the president until proven otherwise by court of competent jurisdiction only if your party and candidate have reasonable argument hence you will wail till Jesus come.
