How can you build intensity and retain possession when 50% of the time you try to rebuild/recycle possession via your goalie he boots the ball upfield surrendering possession. I have kukuma made up my mind that if the club sticks with DDG as the starting goalie next season, I would only watch them when I have no plans or anything better to do. I don kukuma watch the team for over 2 decades and witness them win every trophy 🏆.

I'm happy for Amad. if it so happens that he becomes good enough to deputise or provide competition for Bruno, then we'd have saved good chunk of the transfer budget there.

Hannibal though, the regular playing time should do him some good anyhow. I don't think he has lost his football IQ. he could have sharpened his destroyer attributes for all we know and restart with the squad role of Fred/McTominay.

Fernandez is a player Ten Hag needs to keep and find a role for. his use of the ball should be something we can utilize. perhaps he can develop into a deep lying playmaker like Carrick or a CB in future.

2. He is not a sweeper keeper and doesn't command his box well enough.

3. He is very poor at saving penalities.

Again if your attackers are scoring goals, you won't really notice De Gea's limitations. I don't think Ramsdale is also very good at distribution, but Arsenal are playing good footy non the less.

Make ETH just dey play. He won't be the first or last coach to waste transfer funds in signing shit players. Even the world best coaches do it every time. What sets them apart is their ability to move on from such mistakes and not Hold on to it. Sometimes, an academy player can be better than 100m player. Your duty as a coach is to play your best player irrespective of the price tag

I wrote it earlier that Ten Hag had a full pre-season with this players, yet McTominay and Fred made his team 😁. From even watching videos of United games, he ought to have seen this limitations in De Gea and ask for a good playout from the back goalkeeper before season began. So if the manager says De Gea is good, it is for the press. But if we say De Gea has saved us in games countless times (like in the Carabao Cup final), we no know ball 😁.
