I hoped you booked the right Category. However, to fix your problem, I advise you email the embassy about this problem and they will advise you accordingly. For me when I was in the similar position they gave me more time to get my funds and they insisted I make my visa appointment. Do not miss your visa interview o. It’s better you go there and explain in person than not to go at all. Also go with your blocking opening account confirmation email from the platform you’re using to block your funds. Cheers.

I did this stuff too i even showed them the debit slip (cbn already removedthe money a day prior to the interview)...the interviewer said its non of their business if cbn takes a year all they need is a verification that the money has been blocked ....it won't be like that for you insha Allah but be prepared for anything sha cause that block account is mandatory

Good afternoon everyone, I really need your assistance. I just got a rejection letter from the embassy. The reason for rejection being doubts about my purpose as I didn't clearly explain my intentions to study. I would like to get some advice on how to go about this if it is possible to appeal.. Your advice would be appreciated... Thanks

So sorry for that.ib believe they always give reason for visa rejection and the reason being doubt about your purpose. Are they doubting your sincere intention to go to Germany for study? I believe that maybe your motivational letter and oral interview didn't impress them enough. If there is any room for appeal, kindly do so

Thanks alot for the letter, I really appreciate it.

Please in the letter, also tell them your plans of coming back to your country after graduating, so they won’t think you intentions is other than studying cos these people are smart.

Something like
“ After the knowledge gained after my studies at (name of your university), I plan to travel back to my home country, where I intend to work in (any organization or companies related to the course you’re studying)

For example if you’re studying Aviation Management

“After the knowledge gained after my studies at Hochschule Worms, I plan to travel back to my home country, where I intend to work in the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria - NANTA, and contribute to the aviation international system in my country. This appeal, I perceive as an extraordinary opportunity to be given a chance to further my studies in Germany and gladly interact with students and scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all over the world.”

I'm not used to this, but I believe someone may find this helpful.

I booked a visa appointment in Lagos on 29th of April, 2022. I have not gotten an appointment up till now. Frustrated by the delay and stress of following my classes online, I got a resident permit that allowed me attend my visa interview In Ghana.

Had my visa interview in German embassy, Accra on 20th February, 2023. Got an approval mail at about 10am on 17th of March, 2023 and pick my passport with visa stamp on 27th of March, 2023.

I will honestly advise you to explore the possibility of processing your visa outside Nigeria, if you have the means and desire to achieve your Deutschland dream. It comes with sacrifice, my dear!

DM me if you need guidance.

All the best and see you in Deutschland!

P.S. I have cancelled my Lagos appointment to give chance for people who still want to wait for Lagos, even though I feel it doesn't worth the stress.

how did you get ur Ghana resident permit and how much?

My husband applied for Student's visa appointment since February 2022, He got a date for 1st of June but no admission. We dont know what to do at this point. The admission he got last year had no option for deferral. We have applied to several schools for Winter session but no response yet. If he cancels the appointment and reschedules we dont know how long it will take to get another date. Is there a University in Germany that is fast with admissions process? Any ideas please

Please I’m also in this situation although my AD is on the 2nd but I currently don’t have any free tuition admission yet. Have you been able to secure an admission yet?

Private University might be a better option then after the first year you can switch back to public universities. If I may ask which day precisely on February do you book your appointment!

Hello everyone do we need to take our bachelors degree certificate for the interview?, didn’t see it being clearly stated, is that what they are saying here?

ALWAYS go with everything necessary. Is your certificate too heavy to carry?

There is a checklist of what you should bring. Better to have everything from
SSCE to the highest degree/certification RELEVANT.
CV
Motivation letter
Passport photo (2 at least)
Of course your intl passport
Admission/enrolment letter
Proof of fund
Health insurance (not compulsory)
Exact amount of visa fee

Etc
All in at least 2 copies and attached with clips 🖇 not stapler.

Find the student checklist doc if not in Nigeria embassy, find it in UAE Germany embassy.

Income or business/property that can enable the sponsor give out over 900 Eur after paying tax, rent and other bills (the family size is also factored in).

Good morning guys.

Please, I just want to know how flexible German schools are with the Msc admission

Almost all the schools have seen set minimum requirement to 3.0

Can I still go ahead to apply despite not meeting their requirement?

Usually, there's no compromise. Maybe you try NC Frei courses.

Kindly elaborate bro

1. After conversion of your Nigerian CGPA to the German GPA and the programme states you don't qualify, there are less chances you will be considered BUT with a strong CV (course-related experience) and motivation letter, there could be a waiver.
2. NC-Frei courses are courses that are unrestricted, most times, the department can accommodate most applicants. And in such courses, they might be more considerate in waivers.
