These boys aren't serious at all... Ugbade himself isn't serious cus it's obvious he doesn't talk well to them...
If they don't qualify for the WC, it's all their fault..

Burkina Faso defense has been good so far..they will make it tighter now...their counter attack too is dangerous...

The Burkina Faso coach did his scouting well. Concentrate on starving Lawali so Nigeria is forced to rely on Micheal who is less gifted on the ball for attacks.

They might end up winning if they can calm down and play their game and not force things

Our boys have themselves to blame if they lose this match
they love going thru the middle a lot passing thru tight spaces where they are easily cut off
using the flanks should be exploited more than the middle

probably, we might lose this match due to terrible final balls
BTW why do they slip at the most important moments which cuased the goal we conceded

What's it with this shot passes and one touch football in tight spaces ? undecided playing out from the back Dem go still play one touch and the defenders keeps falling all over the place

It would interest you to know that the only time we went wingwards with long balls to try put it into the box for goal mouth action came via Hope Linus.

At other times, he recovers the ball and feeds it forward to Owoyemi and Ogbabido and all these two wanna do is go through the middle even when there is plenty space on the wings with your overlapping fullbacks just waiting for you to hit it into their wing space. It is annoying.

This has been the problem in the whole tournament. You have players in acres of spaces on the wings and they will prefer to go forward with passes to players in tight positions.

Quite an unfortunate goal. Nevertheless, this is one of our worst under 17 attack in living memories. The midfield 3 are not good enough. Too slow and blunt for my liking. Musa Yahaya, Iheanacho, Kingsley Michael, Nwakali to this! Heartbreaking!

List of overhyped players getting exposed today.

1. Light Eke
2. Richard Odoh (GK)
3. Emmanuel Michael

I won't mention Owoyemi and Abdullahi because nobody kuku rate them before.

Make dis boys calm down. Burkina has a game plan and it's working for them.

Our positioning and recovery after loosing the ball is very poor. Burkina seems to understand this hence play long balls to the wings which is exposing our boys.

The attack seems dead but it's because our players are not releasing the ball on time which gives them the opportunity to physically get the ball out of our boys.

The boys should pass the ball before the get too close then try to cross from the wings into the box

And the player in tight position won't pass it to the guy in wing or back to guy who passed it to him.. he will try to score..

Don't the coaches watch teams like real Madrid, Barcelona, man city, arsenal.. they always use the wings then pass or cross into the box... But I will prefer they pass because their crossing is bad.

Yes. He gave away possession plenty of times but at least he managed one or two good long passes to the wings. He was still exposed anyways.

The team's talent level is generally poor. They have been surviving largely on the fear factor based on former Eaglets' pedigree. Teams have been scared to come out and match them blow-for-blow.

Now they have met a fearless Burkina Faso. Make we dey watch.

Ugbade has peaked in his coaching career he needs a new challenge, nff should let him go
he's not showing considerable improvement in handling the u17

i hope he can see the only thing burkina faso is doing are long balls, flick on and attack

he cannot go to the wc with this outdated style of play

the boys should stop feeling messi-like when with the ball, they should be strong on the ball and stop falling anyhow

Halftime thoughts in a nutshell

- Charles Agada is the Number 9 today and he has been wasteful. Missed two very good chances. You would think moving him centrally and moving Abdullahi out to the right would work but so far it hasn't! He is doing like Abdullahi of the first 2 group games. Annoying!

- Abdullahi and Light Eke have both been large anonymous so much that even the much underrated Ogbabido has had a better first half than the both of them. That is just how bad they both have been.

- Hope Yusuf Linus. This is the kid to keep your eyes on to see how the game flows for our team. He is the link between defence and midfield and also the sublink between midfield and attack. The person who carries the Midfield-Attack link responsibility is Tochukwu Ogbabido and although he has underwhelmed in previous games, today he has really tried.
The few times we opted to switch plays with long balls came via the feet of Linus. We need more of that when the central areas are packed and central passing lanes are blocked.

- Richard Odoh could have done well to gather the ball but his defence also let him down. Ogboji and Lawali should have done better.

- The Team has a problem with being calm and it is the reason the Burkinabes have bitten.

Can it suffice to say the allegations of bribery levelled against him is true?.
No real quality on the bench.

I guess that's why you don't see him making any changes until the match is almost over.

That is false. Some of the starters in the other games are on the bench sir. The captain of the team who is also quite good is on the bench.

The attack sef get issue. The little chance they got in the first half, did they bury it?
