Despite the players quality, you need to build a culture of winning even against the odds. These things take time. You need to make the players and the club to believe that it can be done

You of all people knows that cup competitions can be decided by a very tiny details. It is not easy to get everything right at the first time of asking. Something as little as a red card, can be the difference between having a good cup competition or not. If you want to build an enduring team that can win for many years, you need to get many details right and getting these details take time.
