Iran is not as bad as NK. Average Iranian can travel, you can(to some extent) criticise the government, and you have the right to vote for candidates that are not government approved.

Remember those protests in Iran? In NK, they won't have happened. The government would have arrested the protest planners while the thing is still in the planning stage.
