Na only me waka come, no support whatsoever.
I was in the process of trying to take mpower loan but it got to the area where they were asking for personal savings, sponsor , I was just clicking no as my reply.
If I have no savings, no funds currently, is it wise to proceed with mpower loan? Does it matter?
I really want this msc 😔
If na so e easy nobody go dey naija lol. Find money first.

You don’t have to email or do an upfront medical, and your application is still within processing time.

hello everyone Hello guys please When can I email ircc on my study application? It’s been 38days since I applied and no response. I and I didn’t do upfront medicals

My people please come to my rescue. My friend got her visa after her enrollment date has passed. Unfortunately the school has withdrawn her admission. Okay, she went for deferment and it shows that there is no opening in the school even to 2025.She don't know what to do next. Please anyone with advice on way forward should please come to our rescue.

may99:

Get admission for another school, maybe for sept 2023 or Jan 2023. Then inform IRCC of the change. And maybe possible extension of the study permit.

She has it, so she just needs to find an admission and she’ll be fine. Goodluck

This is correct but let her arrive Canada before updating IRCC else it'll be a fresh SP application

A minor child of a principal applicant whose application for a study permit was submitted outside of Canada and approved is eligible for an open study permit (admission letter not required). So, what are the ages of the kids? Did you apply from inside Canada? Has your initial LoA expired? These could be some of the reasons for the LoA request.

Parental consent is required if both parents are not travelling with the kids, as child trafficking is a serious offence in Canada. So, submit the Int’l passport and a consent letter authorizing you to travel with the kids. The consent letter must be notarised and signed by the kids’ parent. The signature on the consent letter must look similar to the one on the passport, and don’t forget to travel with it, as the CBSA officer will request it along with their passports.

I applied from
Outside Canada with the kids. My children are 6 and 9 years so I applied for a study permit with them I don’t know if it’s the same as open study permit . I also attached my letter of acceptance from conestoga college, the date of this letter was November 2022.

As for letter of consent I attached one from my husband with his international passport but wasn’t notarized. What do I do now as I’m confused .

I applied with them so my study permit application isn’t approved yet. We all have Canada visit visa though we haven’t even used it .

Resubmit the admission letter, a notarized copy of the consent letter, his passport, and an explanation letter that the start date is September 2023. The VO may have missed the documents.

My people, I am still battling with payment, My GTB dollar card has refused to go through, I have spent more than 3k airtime in calling GTB and I even went to their branch to find out why but nothing good comes out.

I'm considering going to UBA to get their dollar card this morning. Please has anyone used a UBA dollar card to pay for an application of recent, and it went through? If yes, what is the requirement to get the card?

If there is any other bank dollar card that works seamlessly please suggest to me

I had same issue.

Fidelity dollar card didn't work, I am not sure UBA works as well. I had to find someone with a dollar account who uses it often, I collected the card details and that was what worked for me.

I used First Bank muilt-currency account recently and it paid over 800 CAD. I opened the account newly and funded it. Got ATM card (takes about 5days). You will need to activate the 2 pins (d normal atm pin and the internet banking pin) and you are good to go.

I did an upfront medical and uploaded my medical results I received from IOM instead of the e_medical slip. I got a mail from IRCC for medical request some couple of hours ago. I'm confused as I'd already uploaded my upfront medical during application. Upon receiving the email I immediately uploaded the e_medical slip on webform and chose Nigeria as the visa office instead of Nairobi. Are my entries correct or do I need fill another webform. Please what are my chances cos I've been restless ever since.

How did you get your medical result from Ircc??
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by sudo1986: 4:53am On May 24, 2023
Hello guys, when IRCC requested for medical from my friend, they as well requested for another document (police character certificate). My friend submitted the police character certificate since last week Tuesday, and they updated the portal that they are reviewing the submitted document.
Does that mean they'll start reviewing again from the beginning?
It's like applying outside your home country is taking longer time than applying from your home country.
Though the medical has been updated to Pass. But eligibility and others are still in progress.
I hope there is no issue at all.

Hello guys,good morning
I have a question
So I am using my elder brother as my sponsor, he uses the account for daily transactions, the total debit from the account in 4months is about 60million, his bank account has been very active for the past 4 months its his personal savings account but there is no tangible amount in the account as at last week and money started rolling in this week in bits like 2.5m 3m 2.5m to get to a tangible balance before I apply in two weeks time.. would this be a red flag or it's ok?
Urgent responses needed from the gurus. Thanks

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by marianhunter79(m): 7:04am On May 24, 2023
If you have specific concerns or questions regarding financial transactions and their potential impact on your sponsorship application or banking matters, it is advisable to consult with a financial advisor or contact your bank directly. They can provide personalized guidance based on your specific situation and local regulations.
