Next up: The Ling Hotel & Casino. This hotel had a high roller and as such, we wanted to have the experience. The pillar marked where I parked. I got lost trying to find the exit for nearly thirty minutes until we figured it out.

The scary thing about the High Roller is that it doesn't totally stop for people to get off or board. You have to hop on with the instruction of the staff around and then the pod closes while the next batch of folks get on.

If you have rushed Danfo in Lagos, this shouldn't be a problem. We have perfected the art of jumping down from the bus while it is still in motion.

I spent a total of $2,100.

1. $1,006.82 on hotel for 4 nights
2. Roughly $280 on gas both on the road and in Vegas.
3. $120 in tips (I made a grave mistake of tipping valets $10 every time when it should be between $2-$5. I'll rant about this in my diary.
4. The rest on buffet and tickets to access those places in the pictures.

Quite cheap, I dare say.

You took the advice that I gave you at the beginning of your relocation thread about seeing America through road-trips since SLC is a modest drive from many great places—I’m so thrilled! I’m happy you enjoyed Vegas and I laughed so when I saw how much you enjoyed Area 15. All men, even guys who say they hate Vegas, walk into Area 15 and lose themselves immediately as it’s so much to see and experience. Seems you guys enjoyed your trip and what makes me happy is that as a Nigerian, you’re getting out to see, learn, and experience instead of complaining about boredom and everything else. It’s hard for some outsiders to fathom but this is a great country and you’re learning and experience America the way it should be learned and experienced. I’m so happy to read about your experiences and can’t wait to see where your next road trip takes you.

I did take it! Oh, I love Area 15 and I must confess, it was the one place that made the whole trip fascinating. Bulk of the Strip was super busy and the smell of hemp and cigarette put me off. Area 15 was just too immersive and fun. It's a disservice to self to be in the US as an immigrant and not experience America the way it should be experienced. I'd definitely be visiting Las Vegas at some point again. There's no doubt this is the first road trip of many. My next vacation destination will likely be Hawaii but it certainly wouldn't be a road trip (it is nearly 3,000 miles from SLC).

What are some other cities you'd recommend for a JJC? I just might have another before Hawaii

There's no amount of money in the world that can motivate me to go on a roller coaster. Even the high roller became a nightmare at its peak in the sky. It was just too scary.

It was cheap, to be candid and two major reasons why this is so is because I booked the hotel about 2 months ahead and then baby girl confidently packed jollof rice and Afang Soup + garri. Else, A week to the date, a room would cost nothing than $331 per night and then eating out would have spiked the quoted amount.

Had my first gas stop there. Although, my tank was half full, it was important to take a leak and top up to avoid stories that touch the heart.

u get better road still dey complain of fuel. Hmmm, one man's poison is another man's food.

Second gas stop: Arizona. Arizona is hot mehn! Before we could refill, use the restroom and get back to the car, it was burning as hell.

Area 15 is home to Las Vegas sci-fi-ish themed, immersive experiences. I must confess, I have never seen anything so immersive, fascinating and fun as this before.

all this is just like a fragrance of paradise. It clearly stated that the smallest paradise is like the earth and everything in it. Just imagine. And you can make things happen there just using the mind. Let's all works towards the bigger price. Earth is temporary, heaven is permanent and free from suffering.
