When Rudiger intentionally injured KDB in 2021 final against Chelsea without even a yellow card or when Salah was injured intentionally by Ramos in the 2018 final, I expected Guardiola or Klopp to be using that as excuse but they never even mention it during the post match press conference. Why must Mourinho be promoting toxic atmosphere in football because a ref did not award his team a penalty? Was he the only coach? No wonder his teams are no longer progressive. His tactics belongs to 18th Century football not a modern day where football is an art.

The final was officiated with keen intention to produce worthy winner. I can't remember how many UCL or UEL that I have watched with penalty in the finals. They are few if at all it happened. Sevila were dnied a penalty, Roma were denied penalty. Mourinho should go to hell if he is not pleased.

That can NEVER be a penalty in a trillion years. It was a clear case of ball to hand. The speed at which the ball was travelling, no way for the defender to do anything about it. Even the commentators said no way that would be a penalty.

In the box, every defender is expected to put his hand behind his back. Any contact made by the ball and hand is handball. No doubt about it. Except if it occured when the player is falling or trying to protect his face or private organ.

It's strange that the ignorant, slow to learn, are calling Anthony Taylor a fool, and all sorts of unsavoury names because they lack basic knowledge of the game.

When the hand is in an unnatural position, that is, away from the body, then it is handball. Thus, a penalty would be given. But from the
pics here, his hand is very much close to his body. For the life of me, that's no handball. People- black people- are too stupid to learn or study these things, but jump on the traffic of general outcry and knee-jerk reaction.

You see more from emotional perspectives more than I going by this argument. Three wrong calls were made against Sevilla and they moved on with the match. First was Rakitic foul by Matic, Second was Ocampos foul in Roma box 18, the third was another deserving yellow card for Matic that the refree didnt award because he had a yellow card. Sevilla moved on and the penalty decided the match.

Hardly will you watch a match without an error because the officials are human. I remember Chelsea vs Man City. Rudiger deserved card for injury on KDB and Man City had a penalty claim at 78 minute of the match that was not given to them. Guardiola did not even mention it during the post match press conference. What was saying is that if anything happened agaist Roma in that game, they had ample time to correct it but they play negative football till the end hoping that penalty shootout will favour them. Hence, my reservation for Mourinho style.

He lost and lost for good. Nothing will happen to the official since he has the rule of football backing. I have seen those kind of handball waved severally in football matches not to talk of finals.
