People just like forming woke on everything, what about we that eat ram meat or cow meat should the Indians start protesting we are eating their idols
For all I know all animals are edible we just need to choose our poison wisely

Dogs are pets, and even in Nigeria, most persons don't look too kindly to people eating dogs, no be wokeness matter.

I was surprised the Hilda Bassey girl could commit that sort of PR disaster, even the Eniola boy wey dey with her as she dey chop the dog, I always thought the guy was sensible.

This is not true . I have friends who are from Ondo state and they eat dog. I’ve always looked at them kindly .

I met a friend friend from Plateau state during NYSC , he also eats dog and it actually not an issue for me (even though I don’t eat it ). One yeye guy from Badagry was telling us how he had eaten cat , dog , snake and crocodile meat.

Most times it’s religious bias and cultural bias that makes people make issues out of those things .

I understand Hilda messed herself up with the white people , but make we fellow black men no dey do like say she be outcast for eating her local delicacy. We all have our local delicacies which some other cultures might find repulsive .

It’s easy for a person in the middle class to cut down on his costs by knowing when to use his car and when to trek(in order to conserve fuel ) , knowing when not to put on generator , reduce the amount u spend on alcohol , move some items on ur basic needs to luxury list (which u will no longer be buying ) dining more of home cooking than buying food outside , etc .

How does someone who works as a security or driver who earns less than 60k adjust these trying times ? I’m sure when u go to malls, restaurants , cinemas etc u see those guys hailing u and some go a step firther to ask u “ oga anything for ur boy ?” . They use the few gift they receive in the process to augment their meagre income . Even bank security guys are almost same, they act all nice when u want to use ATM so u can drop something which goes a long way in their finances .

Now how do such people adjust and focus on earning more “decently” , considering the people that do give them handouts are now facing serious financial difficulties themselves ?

I can only fault her for publicizing it after all she’s from awkaibom, calabar partner in crime

Well maybe na sentiments I dey use talk sha, but to chop dog or cat na one thing I no fit reason, and it's not like I'm a pet person sef...though I almost chop cat when I was moving mad during service year sha, na cash wey no reach prevent the purchase then. Cat was smoked, be like bush meat for eye. Even monkey sef, dem dey smoke sell for the village I do service then.
