we can also say Argentina lost because they couldn't finish their chances. So you see the ability to finish your chances is what matter, i.e the team that convert the most chances is the better team.

And I clearly stated that. However, the success of a team in a long run is a team that creates the most chances. That is why I do not look at just a game but look at it in the long run.

The better team lost but in a long run, the better teams win more.

finito.

You can change the goal post enh

If it were we to use similar tactics you would be here bleating

Guy i taya for you

If we used the same tactics, I will be here criticizing us. I look at football in the long term and the more offensive teams are more successful. That is why in the end, many defensive teams get swept away in the long run. Correct our finishing and we become a wrecking crew. That is how to build teams, not defending.

Finito.

what more are they winning?? That u20 team is never playing a tournament together ever again. Their objective was mainly to win rather than dominate. At most 2 or 3 of the players proceed to either u23 or super eagles.

Yes, but if we are building towards the future and we have a holistic project, the team organizers can learn from it, tweak tactics, improve selection and go on from there.

We should stop this one game one tournament line of thinking. But, adopt a progressive approach. That is why we have been in the same spot for ages. No holistic plan, no progressive pattern, no laid down selection strategy etc.

Park bus can not guarantee success. In this game, it was our finishing that let us down. The park bus had no effect on us.

Finito.

Congrats to him

But winning this ahead of Nicolas Jackson is surprising though

I warned that the EPL was too fast and physical for him

predicted this. So i am not surprised

There is nothing good about Southampton,he joined the wrong club and the new coach hardly plays him

It’s high time you guys stop talking about epl too fast and physical ,epl isn’t even physical this days more than Laliga

I think he should go to La Liga , any mid table club and a bit higher will suit his particular skill set.

If he goes down to the Championship he may find it difficult, the intensity and physicality plus he lacks speed .

There is nothing difficult about the championship ,even Chuba akpom found life easier there than Greece

Laliga is harder to score than the epl ,onuachu would have done better in a team like Fulham or palace

True but we need to accept not every player will play in the top leagues

Agreed but there has to be a minimum standard of sorts.

The SE has to be a about getting the best players which will be based on oustanding consistent top level performance in club and league.

You can say that to Benteke .

Tell me one stiker that came from La Liga to the EPL and had immediate domination in the past decade just one not two.

Then let's see how many left the EPL and immediately had dominance in La Liga or Seria A. Too many players who struggled in the EPL become General and Chairmen on arrival in Seria A or La Liga.

Arnaut Danjuma a winger left Bournemouth in the Championship to VillaReal and became the highest goal scorer in the Club with 10 goals. Chukwueze has never scored double figures in La Liga.

Lacazette left Arsenal struggling to score goals as well as Balogun struggling to even get game time. Lacazette is just behind Mbappe with 27 goals and Balogun is joint number 4.

My former best Midfielder for Nigeria Etebo, went into the Championship and after two seasons was far from oustanding that accolade went to Eze and Olise. Even Mikel Obi did not dominate in the Championship either.

A 17 year old boy left Birmingham city in the Championship and immediately had domination in the Bundisliga he is now the most sought after and arguably best Midfielder in the world at 19 🌍. I'm talking about Jude Billingham.

There is NOTHING difficult about the Championship but Isaac Success was essentially woeful there. Omeruo was so good after two seasons with Middlesbrough in the Championship nobody wanted him. Jamilu Collins has got lost completely in the Championship although injury has not helped him.

Yet you jwnr the audacity to say there is NOTHING DIFFICULT about the Championship.🤔🤔

KC. has been RELEGATED to the Championship he will be starter because all the players who can move have left . That being the case KC should at least be the third highest goal 🥅 scorer for Leicester City in 2023/24 season in the Championship. Same follows for Paul Onuachu too.

Because according to you Football analyst supremo, the Championsip is easy . Go and look at Ismaila Sarr 39 games in the Championship and 10 goals. Do you think KC and Onuachu are better than him ❓

Nuff said.

True but also remember he's not been part of the SE setup recently
Looks like his SE career is almost over

We lost because we could not finish our multiple chances, not because the Korean's parked bus. We had enough chances to bury Korea. Their parked bus did not help.

It was our finishing.

Did I run down our team. Reread what I posted. We lost the game because our finishing let us down and not because the tactics of the Koreans worked. How else should I say it.

If Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chuks are not part of the 3 nominated for CAF African player of year 2023, then CAF is corrupt.

Nicolas Jackson's form literally began in April. 9 of his 12 La Liga goals were scored between April and June. He was the late bloomer of La Liga 22/23.

Meanwhile, Chukwueze has been good since August 2022, only dipping in form towards May 2023 and dropped a MOTM World Class showing vs the Biggest Team on the Planet at the Santiago Bernabeu. Respect!!!

Possibly also linked to the uncertainty over Peseiro.

But shaa, the list will come out when it would come out.

To be honest, my good man, on this:

Victor Osimhen ✅️

Samuel Chukwueze ❎️

Chuks isn't making Top 3 for the CAF APOTY, this season.
