Another one.... It will always end in tears, promises of huge returns and lack of due diligence! There is no shortcut to wealth or riches |

Agritech investments that year Most of them ran down due to debt I guess not necessarily scam, intention to scam or ponzi it was more of crowd funding. The ROIs they promised seemed not sustainable in the long run and then there was one Sec policy that came later on. Then came the emails upon emails with orishirishi explanations and then they just went quiet. I still feel the problem was from the ROIs, 15-20% seemed much if you ask me some were even higher . I want to think if there are still any one of them in business (which I doubt) it will be the ones with max 10%RO1. There is/was an agritech investment thread on NL. 9 Likes |

Treasure17:Nigerians and easy ,quick, big profit without work are inseparable. If one invest 21m in cattle farming he will make money with time, but our people don't want to wait or labor, they want big, instant returns as an arm chair investor everybody wants to be in Nigeria. More will continue to fall to similar schemes 10 Likes |

But some Nigerians stoopid gaan shaa! Small fancy advertisement, you don move your retirement benefits fiam! Like what the hell!!! If not for greed, why will anyone think of that? I thought these things are to be done with spare money, not money of life and death. One of the first unwritten rule of being a Nigerian is to be smart. Never be caught off guard. Emi laye mii, make I move one million into an online venture, even with physical address, for where! 6 Likes |

Nigerians are sharp people but when it comes to high return investments and politics they always fall hand. Politicians and high ROI investors will always catch Nigerians mugu always, twice on Mondays. 4 Likes |

But truly I don't think these guys intention was to scam. I think they just ran out of money. I have been to their shop on admiralty way Lekki and it is beautifully situated facing the water. The product is good quality and they employ a lot of workers. Upstairs is a restaurant and downstairs a juice and muffins bar and middle floor is the supermarket. Then one day a few months ago I went in and the shelves were empty and it looked like they were packing out and running. Even the frontline workers looked confused and didn't know what was happening. I bet they do now. I asked the guy in the bread and wine section if they were closing down and even he looked befuddled and confused and didn't know what was happening 11 Likes |

Flangelo12: Dangote refinery is in the same league with these fraudulent companies in reality. Let me explain. We are now in an enegry transition era, refineries are now low profit margin businesses. Infact White people don't build refineries anymore, and the few ones they built in the past 10 years are all not more than 250bpd. Check out all the refineries world wide and see their profit margin despite high crude oil prices. Dangote went and built a 650bpd single train refinery knowing very well that refineries don't make any serious profits anymore, he sent the liar and scammer Godwin Emifiele to lie that the refinery has started paying its debts. Which is an outright lie and a fraudulent claim. Once the refinery starts operating, he will Issue and IPO and people will run to go and buy the shares, that will increase his personal wealth to over $50 billion. The refinery will no longer be based on the profit or loss it brings but based on the shares that are traded. Its a ponzi, but a legitimate one because we live in a world where might is right. 22 Likes 4 Shares |

I will keep reiterating that To make money is very easy than to find True Love. In Nigeria, You will make money easily if you are Intelligent and have a Stone & Dark Heart. The only downside is Karma which you can never escape in your lifetime. I know all these things but i value my peace of mind more than anything. There are too many Gullible and educated illiterates in Nigeria. Even the Politicians and Elites are not that Wise. If not for Military Might and Other Paramilitaries. That's what they mostly depend on as Power. Remove this and they will become ordinary people even with their Spiritual Might. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
