A40:The final nail for me happened when they could only chip off 1 point when Jokic sat because of his 5 fouls |

Khanben:I am glad malone took him out. He would have altered the game on defense with those 5 fouls and miami would have attacked him back to back |

SOPE, O TI LAW! |

When Denver wins this championship it will be 5 straight years of different champions in the nba. With only GSW and the Heat making more than 1 finals appearance. It seems this is what the owners and league brain trust wants because the new CBA starting next season will make it very hard for a team to pay two stars and also give good money to role players. |

Safe to say that A. Gordon is the x-factor in this finals series.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:35pm On Jun 10, 2023 |
Khanben:Signs of a well drilled team. Sometimes the absence of a star can make players improve and raise their levels especially in short stretches. Gordon really was a beast. How he's playing is how MAGA Mike should be playing. The Heat are too small |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:37pm On Jun 10, 2023 |
Khanben:Us fans are not complaining. We want to see teams sweat and the game to have NFL parity. Also we will know the guys serious about winning by how much they're willing to shave |

Wonder how Kyrie, Harden and KD must be feeling seeing this upstart Denver and Miami teams. They even had Bruce Brown If only they had stayed the course |

A40:It was never going to work. Too many egotistic personalities who barely had minutes together on the floor. |

Roland17:Well they all have themselves to blame because they didn't give it a chance to make it work. Now they're jumping from team to team with legacies that will most likely take a hit. There's a real chance none of these 3 win a ring again Someone on some show I think it was Cowherd made a salient point that if I were a GM I would strongly consider. He said foreign players generally have this gratitude and loyalty to whatever franchise they're drafted by, they don't care about the market they don't care about anything, they are mature, no egos and you're almost certain they will retire where they're drafted. And when you think about it it makes sense. Look at Zion for example before he was drafted there was legit fear he wouldn't go to the team with the #1 pick whereas no such issues with Wemby Maybe it's the AAU, the culture and how these players are given the world from early teens unlike the Europeans, Africans who are drilled at a young age to play for team, to know their roles and not try to play GM. |

Roland17:To be fair, Durant was willing to do what it takes. I am besides myself the Houston would consider taking Harden back. Madness! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 8:36pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
birdman:The Slimreaper had no choice, he was supposed to be the leader of that core that failed woefully. I know it hurts him Apparently, Harden can’t find another city with better strip clubs and burgers than Houston. Take heart, his return is inevitable. ![]() |

When 3 coaching assistants jump ship at the first chance to join the previous coach and the Celtics are aggressive in hiring experienced assistant coaches like Sam Cassell, Charles Lee, that should tell you all you need to know about my wailing! |

Roland17:I dont understand the stance behind Mazulla. There are much better coaches out there and it is obvious he cant bring out the best in this team. Is it contractual? Must be a lot of money to risk experimenting another season with |
| Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 10:51pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
birdman:Why them go pay untested coach a lot of money? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 10:54pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
donlittle25:Nurse, Vogel and Monty W were available. As of now, I think only Nurse is left. any of those is more than worth it. Explain to me how Mazulla is better than even Coach Bud. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:23pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
birdman:Nurse has replaced Doc with the Sixers |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 11:23pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
birdman:The Sixers have hired Nurse, coach Bud is the only one left. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:01am On Jun 12, 2023 |
birdman:Brad Stevens knows Mazzulla is not the man for the job and that is why he making these wholesome changes. The Celtics shouldn’t have offered him the job full time until after the postseason in my opinion. He is basically giving him one more season to get back to the final or get fired. The Celtics offered him a 3 yr/14M contract with the 3rd year being team option, so pretty much 2 yrs.. I think he makes between 3-4M next season which is not a lot to give up.. problem is, you are having an egotistic rookie coach a ready to win roster. |

Kennedy97:Why not 5? Let's put the Heat out their misery please. Could have easily been a sweep if the Nuggets didn't play with their food 4th quarter of Game 2 Miami are 2-12 their last 14 against the Nuggets |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Kennedy97: 9:17pm On Jun 12, 2023 |

It's going to be a long night for Heat tonight. Their shots are not going in while Nuggets are killing them at the opposite side. |
